Yeah... i dont think keep reseting the ps3 is a good thing to do. Its even worst if complete freezes and you need to eject the disc to make works...i was wondering if keeps reseting the hardware all the time like this could damage the HD or at least makes some data store there get corrupted. I say this because of the type of ps3 system files. Since ps3 only accept like a flash drive formated on system 32, i guess the hd on ps3 its like that too right (on system 32)? And on pc the file system 32 its not that safe like NTFS since NTFS got acess to the journaling tool, which makes alot more anti error proof. But thats just me wondering...

Yes, restarting your system a lot can damage it.

Me, it's under extended warranty so Sony can argue with Ultimate Electronics about who's FAULT it is if my system dies.

I dont think Demons souls gonna be realesed on Europe.I've been seeing on other foruns people saying not gonna be out on Europe. I hope im wrong.But if you want you probably can get a USA version easy in Europe. I just got a USA version but im gonna hold up until i finish my first game on DA:O.

Mine's under warranty as well, so I don't really care but still

@Difre A european release has just been announced a few weeks ago namco/bandai are publishing it I think.

Demon's Souls is an AMAZING game.  However, it's very easy to get frustrated with it.  I'd recommend getting it if you can.

Just don't format your hard-disk, THAT will delete your save data.

All I did was go into the System setting and restore the default settings.

Well that and remove my DAO disk, and reinstall 3.30...

Well at least you got that warranty. Since i got my system from another country on my own risk i cant pull that one on then. And i never liked to have to ask company's to do anything for me since company's suport this days tends to be so impressive... (of course with some luck we eventually can get good suport... sometimes LOL)

brammers_01 Good news man. I didnt start my Demon souls yet but people says its great. After DA:O I will try it. I was hoping to do another playtrough on Da:O before the DS but after this freeze issue...i just dont know man.

I have Demon Soul's. Be warned though, that game is not for people used to relatively easy games, DS will rape you if you aren't careful xD. Awesome game though.

As far as i know DS dont have these problems. So the EU version probably gonna be great as the others.

Unlike other games, you cannot save. it only will allow you to save after bosses. so if you die, you go back. it's not a typical hack-n-slash. you need strategy.

Yeah i did alot research before decide to buy Demons Souls. As far as i know the best quality to play the game is have ALOT patience in the begin heh.

Just happened to me too. Its very frustrating. Its like if too much happens at once(like, you just level up, a character approves of something, you picked up an item all at once, or when youre trying to save and you try to move forward simutaneously while it says "do not turn off your system" , the game cant take it and it freezes. Pressing the PS3 button won't work, I have to resort to restarting my PS3 all over again. Im worried this will do damage to either the game or the system.



this is quite frustrating.

their are so many posts, I cant read them all. Can someone confirm for me if theyre doing something about it right now? Or know the exact source fo the issue?

Agree!  My hubby managed to beat it and is playing it on NG++ and he's managed to max out leveling too.  Me?  I get frustrated and have to put it down for a while.  But I may just pick up again here in the VERY near future.
