True,it's Sony that screwed everything.Yet,bioware is the one that own the game and have to fix up everything.I know it isn't their fault, still, wanting informations and updates is our right, since we paid for this game, they don't gave it 4 free.So please, stop with the "it's already a miracle they bother to answer you!" thing,i get enough of that on any platform/pc/game forum i go whenever there is a problem.
@ Rumtruffle: or because not being in a dungeon you get less loot so you're inventory is not full as when exploring ruins and such.
You assume you have rights that you do not, you bought the game, they can say to hell with you if they wanted to at this point (again not a smart move considering the dlc they have planned but they could) I mean sure you have the right to want whatever, but none of us are really entitled to any updates, and as for the forum thing they're are just as many people who feel entitled to things they aren't entitled to
Stop and think for a minute you buy a car, that car breaks down, you don't expect the car company to fix it for you do you? and a car cost a lot more than a game, hell sony won't even fix your ps3 if it's past warranty unless you pay out the ass for it, and I don't recall anyone saying it was a miracle they answered us nor did anyone say it was wrong to want/expect answers, but when they do give us an update on what their doing is it really smart to criticise what they're doing? I know if it was me I'd say to hell with it and not bother telling anyone anything until it was fixed, and even then I'd let someone else spread the word
We aren't really entitled to any updates on anything they're doing, so we should be appreciative when they do give us one (even a small one) not throw it back in their faces

We also do not get patches 1.02 and 1.03, yet 360 does?
The game went from a bad port with a lot of bugs, to an unplayable, 60$ port.
They are not "obliged" to try and get this fixed, but their reputation will be totally destroyed if they don't.

BioWare is already a few steps down for me, considering they refuse to patch simple fixes for the ps3 such as the dexterity bugs (which even regular people have made for the PC version, let alone paid professionals).

And on that point I agree with you completely (let's not forget the shale bug, no matter what gifts you give her you get the same ammount of approval) ps3 users have been getting the shaft from day one, thats solid fact and not really debateable
To your second point, of course their reputation would be destroyed I never said it wouldn't, however I doubt their reputation would suffer much if they didn't check in on this thread from time to time and seeing as in how everyone was complaining that we weren't getting day to day updates, I assumed people wanted to hear from Bioware on this, however it seems that all some people want to do is complain and make empty threats about returning the game and selling their ps3

I agree. Let's try to keep this in perspective. I'm as annoyed about this as anyone but we're aware they're trying to fix it. There's nothing else we can do. Like most people I've invested not only in the DAO game but all of the DLC.
Bioware is aware of how this hurts their reputation and not fixing it would kill their name in the eyes of PS3 users which ultimately is $ lost. The fix will come out as soon as they can get it to us. I just shelved the game so I don't kill my console with constant hard reboots.

That wouldn't be a bad idea but it's not likely to ever happen, and anyone who's bought a car from a dealership knows they'll do whatever they can to not cover you even if you're still under the guarantee, the majority of big businesses will find any way they can to screw you if it means there's even a little chance of making more money off of it
In my personal opinion if this had happened (or god forbid it happens again) after they're done with the dlc I highly doubt Bioware would do a whole lot, people seem to be confusing me using common sense logic with me defending Bioware at all costs

I started playing again right after the 3.3 Update. I noticed the following:
Once the game started up it spent several minutes on the Search Save Games (or something like that) Screen before loading the game. Usually this only takes a few seconds. After that, this was again the case except for 1 other time where it "hung" on the searching Save Games for about 1 min before continuing.
I created a new character (City Elf Rogue). On average it crashes about once per day. I played the first session for about 5 hours (1 crash). This happened just before reaching the Warden Ruins in the Kocari Wilds (Right after autosave).
On my second session it crashes in Lothering after I spoke to the Trap quest giver. Morrigan and Alistar where having a conversation at this time.
Since it has crashed about once per session with once exception. One that occasion I played for about7/8 hours, no crash until I Exited the game, where it got stuck.
It seems that if I turn the PS3 on and leave it on for about 10 mins before playing the game, I can play it longer before it crashes (usually takes 1-2 hours before the crash occures).
Every time it freezes, the sound continues as normal.

My first Freeze was after 10 Hours of playing when I was in the Wolverine Laire. My freezes seem somewhat location organized or something, I get zero freezes 'till the Tavern in Lothering. In the Tavern either 1 or zero and after that is starts to be random and how further I get in the game the more the freezes frequent.
So 'till now I at least got to see every race's starting story which were all quit nice. But I'd like to progress in the game further now and further develop my character I'm quit excited 'bout the continuation of the game so hope it gets fixed soon.

this is exactly what we need is more people like this we must understand they are working on it they can't bring a game back to life with a problem that isn't repeatable it seems to crash at random times i have the game for both the PC and PS3 i love both version PC for the ammount of importing you can do and the PS3 version for the control familiarity if you can get the PC version go for it if not then just chill out till we get the update being angry is not going to make them any more quick being patient and hoping that they can fix it soon is the best thing you can do right now

Why? Because i think that people that manage to make such a great game got some inteligence and killing a entire base fun buyers data base its not a smart move. You dont have to be a smart #ss to know that doingwould be a stupid move. Its evenclear when you look and see that its not something realeased like 3 years ago and they keep realising alot DLC content for this game this days whivh probably means they want this game to survive at least a lilte longer. And this bug its no a small thing that afect some of they buyers in one plataform so they could just leave it be. As far as i know and iv been looking here and Sony forums, this is something that affect the ENTIRE ps3 data base with the new 3.30 firmware. I dont think they want all that investment and possibly money making go flushed away because of this. And just ignore this problem can make they lose alot money on the long run. All kind of consumers can be affect by this, going from old ones, to the new ones and the future ones. Most of the people that do at least a litle research to see if the games they are buying worth they cash are probably knowing about this by now. And those that are in their "Moon planet" probably got friends that can provide then with the information too. You can alredy see websites that sells and review games like Gamespot people talking about this mess. So if they want keep selling this and i think they want, they are gonna at least try to fix it. Just pray that the problem its not that hard so Bioware can do most of the job alone.

"They fix bugs that prevent us from playing, but they couldn't care less about game mechanics of the gaming experience we get."
This is a bug that prevent people from playing so i think they gonna TRY to fix at least this one. If they gonna have sucess on it its another story...And if anyone say this dont make the game unplayable.... when you have to make all sort of things, even VODU magic to make something run for 15 min to 1 hour without a crash and dont consider that unplayable then you should be having a blast on your 360 and not be talking on this forum...i have much more standard level then 15 min bs...

A simple question to Bioware: are you going to fix it? You people posted here before, gathered info, looks like you gathered enough... So - you're fixing it or we have Bethesda situation here aka unplayable Fallout 3 PS3 GOTY?????
