Just read through some of this because I've been having the same problem. Glad to note it's not just my system. I have to say though that I've had some success still playing, although I do save often. Looking forward to a patch to rid us of the issue for good.
As far as the flaming...I have to admit I've had my share of diarrhea of the mouth and/or fingers saying more than I should, but you guys are really funny. Is it really better to be older, have served in the military, supposedly therefore securing you're macho-ness, and be caught here, on some silly board playing a silly game and apparently coming back again and again to try and one-up a 17 year old? Big man.Posted Image

a silly game??? blasphemy!

Jonas....you're acting like a douche, man.

I respect the men of the armed forces, but not when they act like an egotistical, elitist juicer.

Boy oh Boy everyone is getting cranky without their DOA fix, talk about a bunch of drama queens LOL. Do we need some time outs dished out?

Hopefully the fix is coming soon, but I see no point in getting the DLC before that (if we can) and I'm not sure I want to be a Darkspawn or not, I couldn't do an evil thing both times I played through. Saw the clip of it and felt bad for my old compaions getting the stuffing knocked out of them. I guess I'll wait and see what everyone on PCs and Xbox's have to say about it. Interesting idea but I don't think its going to be for everyone!

I will continue on with my Italian Thug on ACII until the fix comes, hopefully before I finshes the game.

Actually I think everyone is behaving pretty well. Especially when no one has any idea when the fix will be published.
Have a good weekend everyone ! Here's hoping next week brings some good news.

Sorry... suffering DA:O withdrawal...

Just got back from Gamestop. They say everywhere is out of PS3s. Sony has added a new CPU to the PS3, but failed to make enough of them. Everyone is sold out right now...

We have a store closeby and they were out last week. They just got a new shipment in, I was surprised. So what's the difference now?

Strange: in the last two days I got no more freezes. And even at startup, while before was lasting long time reading save datas, was super-fast. I was able to finish the game today, playing several hours.

Before I was having freezes, but not so many: like one every 3 hours.

like i said before, it wasn't just this game that played a factor in me going back to xbox.

1. better customer support
2. more people online
3. more guys here in the Army have Xbox, and when i was in Iraq and didnt have internet, the only way to play games like CoD:MW2 was to LAN across the tent with other soldiers

just some of the factors...this freezing issue was just the the last straw

Ok, good. You made your point! It would be very nice though if that console war here on the PS3 technical support forum would finally come to an end!

exactly, console warring on a console specific board is flat out kiddie trollin

Yeah mine was like that too. When I was near the end of the game, I had no freezes for like 3 days straight. My internet was connected, I had the PS upscaler and all that stuff on. All my settings were the same as before. All I was doing was saving really often.
Started a new character and the freezes started again... :(

At least with the freezes you feel more of a urgency to end the blight.

Man...i really don't feel like waiting any longer. This could easily take another month. Has the patch already been sent to sony? Will sony even make it a priority? they don't even acknowledge there is a problem, why should they care about one third party game...

Just let us test the damn thing and push the update through, somehow.
