I wanted to add that other people had tried dis and no difference, but didnt hav time.
I havnt tried without net connexion but then i havet played 4 while.
At least it is known that people have probs with DA but i dont think its enough. There has 2 be a way to get da message out there properly.
Also i noted that DA was still on sale even tho they new bout da probs, hopefully they warn da buyers b4 lettin them buy da game.

If they had released the patch within a week...they would have been working (perhaps hard), releasing within days would have been working hard. Releasing it within two weeks would have been lazy....three weeks...you guess.
This is so fubar because they KNOW what changes have been made in the firmware. Perhaps it's time to trade in DAO and hope the resellers don't know about these problems...
Ps. I would also be very interested in knowing how they will try to refund this. If not...then this whole situation is even more sad.
for someone so sure about knowing what they should have done already and what they should have known from 3.30, how about you help us all out and make the needed patch for the game? i mean since you seem to act like you could do a better job.... we all are waiting.
Good for you. I somehow have a feeling a patch for a fix for a firmware update which is 100% documented by Sony for developers shouldn't take three weeks from something as big as Bioware... Not to mention the other updates we lack...
I would understand if this problems came out of sudden, but it didn't. It's due to 3.30 and they know it. They KNOW what changed.
But I guess you think patching gameplay mechanics takes over six months (dex bug) and thus major technical bugs should probably take years.

I think it's more disinterestedness to help them, sold them and do not care ...
How is it possible that in three weeks have not done anything!!!!!
really disappointing, I had a better picture of them....

do yourself a favor. go to the thread select area, look for this thread, then click on the "bioware" and READ everything the devs have wrote. its obvious you are coming into this half ass and not knowing whats been said by them.

What bullyhonky is this? "Have not done anything"? They bloody well did something! They actually worked on the problem and have a fix. It is a long process and most likely you'll be waiting longer since this fix has to go through both EA and Sony. Have some patience! BioWare could have just as easily said "There is no problem!" and then where would you be? Most likely blowing your money on a whole new platform. What a waste.

My experience when the screen froze and I had to manually reboot the PS3, DO resumed with my last manual save so, I dropped the auto save.
This is just me but, in the end I left the Ps3 internet connection enabled, and turned off DOA auto save (saved a lot manually) - I finished the Origins today with minimal freezing.
If it's any consolation there are times you can get a decent amount of game play. Granted this isn't a prefered way to play a game but, I was hooked and had to finish. If only I could be this dedicated to my job...

I'm feeling bad - why I wasted money on this piece of broken ****? But it was before 3.30 released! Well, at least I'm level 40 in UC2 already.Heavenboy wrote...
The patch will not even be ready in two weeks time. There is a reason why bioware has not set a ps3 release date for the new DLC. It's because they do not want more ps3-DAO-owners to go back to DAO for now, so they don't notice the freezes. If all those who have DAO would want to replay it or play the new DLC, there'd be many more people complaining about it --> bioware's imagewould suffer even more than it does now.

I am sure there are legal boundaries keeping them from just releasing a fix. figure how big of lawsuits could occur between sony and ea toward bioware, the loss of sales from following the guidelines would be insignificant compared to the lawsuits. and would you be any less mad if they released a date then it wasn't finished by that time?. also it is kinda hard to enforce another company to do something over the phone all bioware can do is make the fix and pass it on to ea and sony and to expect more is kinda wishful thinking
Agreed. In other words... simma down now people!

Are you seriously trying to make out that the fact that this has took 3 weeks with no fix is acceptable?? LOL WTF

Considering the alternative is no fix at all, they can take as long as they bloody well like as far as I'm concerned. Is your life so ruled by an inanimate object that you cannot live without it for three weeks? Two months? Six months? A year?reece4591 wrote...
