Look, yes there afe 80 pages of moaning about this issue, and if they where all posted in the same couple of days id agree with you that its unjustified. but people are moaning becouse its been 3 weeks and still no word on a release date for this fix!
you may be ok with this becouse youve actualy had the chance to play the bloody game crash free! but for a lot of people whove just had their ps3 with this game, too right there gonna p**s and moan!
yes i could find sumthin else to play(well ive had to realy) but the point is i shudnt have to when ive literaly just spent good money on dragon age. It was the fact that bioware released this on ps3 that made up my mind to get one instead of building a pc! doubt we'll see another releas from them after all this tho. Truly gutting.
No one said they shouldn't be pissed. That's not my point. The point I'm trying to make is people like to come on here and rant as if that's going to miraculously bestow a fix upon us. Like that one added derogatory comment will be the catalyst to make Sony and Bioware all of a sudden change the way they do things.
If you just bought the game, then my heart goes out to you. You should protest and demand... just not on a bloody forum that's not going to get you the resolve you're looking for.

but if you realy want to help push this patch through, keep on at sony. They have to pay attention sooner or later.

Let's just for discussion's sake consider your idea as plausible. How much would the costs (for Sony and software developers/publishers) increase by it? A ****load, I would say. Who do you think would be paying for that?

Yes, Jesus, man, some people on these forums are RETARDED. When you buy a broken product, what you do? If you buy milk with blood and pus in it you don't care if ill cows on the farm are being treated right now. When you buy a broken TV you don't care that malfunctioning equipment on TV factory is being replaced. And when I buy broken game I don't ****ing care if some ass developer is developing something or posting on some forum. I care about the fact, that unlike milk and TV you can't return game for a refund (and in case of milk an additional compensation) because store don't guarantee that game works. Store guarantee that it's original game disk, fully undamaged in unopened original factory package. So you can return this for a refund to only manufacturer... Bioware? Now, due to different laws in different countries it's a huge pain in the ass. I won't simply buy any future Bioware games (never were their fan anyway).Verses wrote...

Kinda agreed, it's pretty annoying to go out there, buy a product, have it mess up on you and then have people jump on you for complaining about that.
Now if some people here like drinking pus, they're welcome. I don't.
So, all we can do is
1. Never buy their games in the future.
2. Give them as much bad PR as possible across the web.
And of course it's always a pleasure to post something nasty on their forum.
Good thing I have dynamic IP.

I hate how sony uses us as beta testers and forces us to download there firmwires. I agree with you that 3d gaming right now is completely unnessary and most people dont even have 3D TV's there still high in price and most people wont buy them at first. But owell nothing we can really do about it but bare with sony on there wild rollcoaster firmwire ride that never wil end. The real question is what will go wrong with the next sony firmwire?
Yeah i agree with you. My ps3 its on 3.21 since i got lucky to look here before i start the update and since i never update on the first day before look around to see how the new firmware its being working. But its annoying the fact that now i cant go online to play my other games because if i update i CERTANLY gonna screw Da:O...so or i play online or i play DA:O. Now i have a half system. Yeah, for me its a half system now since the online gameplay on PSN had a major weight on my decision to buy a ps3.

Even if you are right the last experience people are having from firmwares since november 2009 shows that the way this have being doing its not right either. And i would say its okay IF Sony had being doing like Microsoft and assume they part on the problem and fix for free the ps3s got broke from the updates. But no...they keep saying the firmware its "bullet proof" while we all know from looking into foruns its far diferent from that...150 bucks from every guy that had a update brick...beautiful.

I have to say this is crap. I bought this game on PS 3 cause my graphics card could barely handle it on low settings only to find out that the ps3 version runs like **** too. You can blame sony but truly this is biowares fault and responsibility. There are no other games in my 25 ps3 library that freeze and I think it's due to the crappy coding in dragon age. I will never buy a bioware game again due to extensive promises for patches that fall through. This has to be the laziest development team in the market. Money SHOULD NOT be a problem. If I don't see anything in a week I'm speaking with a lawyer cause I spent 95$ on this load of crap and I'm straight up pissed. If sony can be sued for that linux **** there is def a case here. Mabye it is due to the update but still this game was crippled from the day of release.
Let me understand this correct, you want to talk to a lawer (which usually costs anywhere between $75 - $300 per hr) to sue Bioware over a $95 game?

So you made an account thats an sentence on your opinion about dragon age? Thats detacation! DAO was great till 1.03 then it was all down hill also theres no need to swear it just shows that cursing is the only way you are able to express yourself. Also Reece i just backtalk complainers because they keep hashing out the same rants theres nothing more we can do but wait so whats the point of getting worked up about it?

I'm beginning to wonder if you may not be right about that. I played a few other games since Dragon Age freezes all the time and so did my kids. No other game froze yet or had any issues. I so much want to play Dragon Age again, and hope every day Bioware releases the fix!Dragonageistooexpensive wrote...

What I'm 'hating' on is people coming on here, ****ing and moaning about "I'm gonna do this" and "I'm gonna do that" when in reality the only thing they're going to do is text their little cyber-chums about how 'gangsta' they were on a damn message board. All I'm saying is if someone wants to do something about they way they've been treated by a company, then do something about it. Groaning on the boards is just a weak attempt at trying to be proactive.

I agree! But it is usually those ppl who won't do anything. I can't stand ppl that come on this board just to start a console war, insult other ppl, complain all the time and don't add anything reasonable or helpful. I also realize it's been a long time that this is happening, but I guess we have no choice but being patient and wait for the patch! It would be nice if Bioware would post a status or something, and maybe they will this week!zenassassins wrote...

Well, there's already pus in cow's milk. And each state has a limit on how much can be in the final product.
It's a byproduct of factory farming. Cows are milked by machines, get infected sores on their teats, and the machine doesn't really care so it sucks down all the pus and whatever just the same
Kinda gross. And surprising how many people still think farmer joe is milking his cows in a serene grassy meadow
But back on topic, what the hell, Bioware? Status update plox? Note that I'm not *****ing*, and I'm not acting as a reply bot with Stockholm Syndrome like some of the folks on here... I'd just like to know where you're at in the process you told us about a week ago...

I started playing Dragon Age on my ps3 in November, and played it through approx. 20 times! I downloaded Awakening the day it was released in Germany which was 18 March. I have been playing both games with NO problem, and neither one has been crippled!! The problems started with the release of the Sony firmware update 3.30! And yes, just on that particular game! But since it has something to do with the firmware update you cannot just blame Bioware for it! They are going to release that new add-on, and I'm positive they wanna make sure too that patch is ready before they release it for ps3.Dragonageistooexpensive wrote...
