Which makes perfect sense to me. Eliminate as much collateral damage as possible.
It figures that people complain when the freeze happens. Once it's addressed, people will complain about how long it took to address it. Then people will complain about how long it's taking to find a solution. Now people are complaining about how long it will take to launch the fix. There is no pleasing people.
I personally am glad that a fix is coming instead of an "oh well...sucks to be you" kind of response. Good work, BioWare.
Truer words were never spoken, im perfectly fine with waiting for a fix i got plenty other games to play why and wait patiently for bioware to release the patch. Some people cant stop crying and some even sell there playstations witch completely amazes me but owell. Just cant make people happy now days so many people act like spoiled children and want everything instantly, this coming from a 17year old. But i guess thats the pleague of being an modern scoiety. Atleast peoples moaing makes for good reading.

Shame EA ****ed me over in regards to DLC I was meant to get but the redeem code didn't work. Contacted EA and they pretty much just ignored me.
So I'm going to use their complaints procedure. Which will also get ignored.

Couldn't be more true, Chrissy. Thank God there are still people on this thread I can count on to talk that kind of sense.

I'll have to give that a try! Still annoying but if we can work around it, great.
The best thing to do is put the game aside until the patch gets published or you may make things worst than they already are.
There are no workarounds unfortunately.

There is a patch coming out hopefully next week. Victor Wachter posted on page...90? about it.Sylvae wrote...
I got the game after the FW patch so I am majorly disappointed that I can't even play it. What's worse is I'm a chemistry major and have no time to play games during the semester so I was exceedingly excited about the start of summer where I'd have one month to game it up before starting a research internship for the rest of the summer and then back to the books come fall. This isn't Bioware's fault or EA or Sony's but it still bums me out that I spent 50 bucks on a game I've been waiting all school year to play and now...can't. I have faith they'll get a fix but not soon enough for me to be able to play through the game and considering that I have quantum physics and quantum chemistry in the fall...I should pack up the PS3 and wait for Christmas vacation. Or switch to Monsters and Caffeine pills so I have the time to game and study. Decisions decisions.

Not sure which DLC you're talking about ******, but I entered my code for the Blood (type) armor on PC and I play on PS3. I guess I screwed myself on that one. I figured since I bought the game on PS3 version it would be a PS3 code. Not so much. I tried to enter the code on PS3 afterwards, lol, yeah right!
I've been told you can put armor on characters on your team and if you lose them you lose the armor, that's messed up too. Maybe you're talking about DLC you actually pay for and download. Sorry to hear it.

THANK YOU!!!
I swear, practically everyone here worships the ground Bethesda walks on and is always saying that Bioware needs to make their DLC more like Bethesda's.
After playing Fallout 3 on PS3, I'm done buying Bethesda games new... I'll wait a year when it sells for $20 used, and pray to God that they patched at least most of the game-breaking bugs. I wasn't even going to get Fallout New Vegas, until I heard Obsidian was developing it.
Fallout 3 actually inspired my GameFAQs sig...
"I imagine Bethesda's Quality Testing Department a big, dusty room filled with cobwebs, and a chimp wearing a Fez banging on the keyboard of a single computer..."

Actually in an earlier post they said they were going to have it out by the end of this week and then they apologized and said it wouldn't be untill next week now.

No such thing was ever said:
I don't have an official release date estimate yet, but with a little bit of luck we may still see it late this week.

So you consider having to spend 3 dollars to get what was advertised as free "just fine?"Slaughter_007 wrote...
I got my DLC just fine all i had to do was buy that 3 doller combo gift pack and then my free voucher stuff showed up avaiable to download.. And as far as when Sony releases it to us This comming from 3 people i talked to them on their customer support line They stated Its immediate release to public once it was passed to them.. So yeah i agree with some of you why the wait but i just hate the run around with customer support...

Well i'm an optimist so I was hoping they were going to have a "little bit of luck". While i'm not happy that I have to wait a little bit longer to play my new toon I do have other games that I can play.
I'd rather it take longer and have them fix it in one patch than have them rush a release and it still not be fixed and have them go back to the drawing board which would take even longer.

Surely you have other games to play while you wait.
The game is not going anywhere. It sucks that its down but we will have it back soon enough
