When do you get arrested and loose your gear? This way I know before hand to disable my dragon armor.

No, you get it back from a chest right outside the cage.

you sure, I have read other posts saying you need to make a save file, unable the gear, do a force save, re able the gear and re load or something to this matter, any way I just wanted to know when this takes place?

Wait... what prison are you talking about? The prison in the dwarven noble origin does teake away all your gear. There's another one later on that doesn't.

Thats what I was wondering, I do not know where it is you get tossed in jail at? From what I have seen in other post, they talk about getting put in jail and losing all your gear and not being able to get it back, where is this point at so I am prepared before entering there is all I need to know.

I'm playing through as a dwarven noble and towards the end of the origin story you kill "insert name here". It's just after that I got thrown in jail and lost all my equipment. Really annoying that. Oh, goody, I've got lovely dragon armor. Oh, wait...



Anyway, in the dwarven noble origin story, you'll see the "thrown in jail" bit coming, so you should have a chance to save before it catches you out.

The loss of the DLC items is a bug. You can get the armor back using the following steps.

Save the game

Exit the game

Disable all the DLC

Load the saved game, and answer yes on the force load.

save the game

exit the game

Enable all the DLC

load saved game



That should do it.

One last thing on this subject, it only happens when playing a dwarf not any other race, right, cause I am playing a Human warrior.

dwarf commoner it works fine.

Only the dwarf noble goes through this issue.
