It talks about anything, death, glory, religion, esoteric themes, polics and much more. Unless you want to listen to pop where every single song and artist sings about love constantly and offers no true variation lyrically wise? (Not true, but it is so in many cases sadly)

I might not like listening to death metal but i love how they have the ability to touch upon subjects your average singer wouldnt dare to, and for that I respect all Metal artists. (and to make this post a bit on topic, and for me to sound Canadian, i'll just say...)

hmmm... I think about the 'heaviest' metal I have listened to was the opening act for Avenge Sevenfold back in 2006...I wouldn't classify Avenge Sevenfold as death metal though, would you?
