I have always thought Feros to be my favourite planet. Unfortunately, there isn't very much information on it. So I am bringing my question to the forums. On the Prothean Skyway, when you looked down, there appears to be clouds. Are the Prothean skyscrapers and skyway above cloud level, or is that "cloud level" just dust?

I know the Codex entry says Feros's atmosphere is fouled by dust. Dust clouds, I suppose. Big puffy clean white dust clouds.
My other guess would be fog because I can't picture the skyscrapers being so high they break cloud cover.
Damn. Now part of me wishes Zhu's Hope had been covered in fog. Get a bunch of Thorians and possessed colonists coming through the haze and that would have been nicely creepy.

I think the skyscrapers breaking cloud cover is quite a likely possibilty. The Protheans were quite capable,so my guess is that the skyscrapers do break cloud cover.

Yeah, but the Codex likes to point out how Feros is nothing but rubble. If they had skyscrapers reach that high, I would have thought they'd crumble by now.

*gasp* theres more than one type of cloud, and they form at different altitudes. Who'dathunkit?

Maybe on Earth there is more than one type of cloud, but here we are talking about Feros. Feros could have different weather conditions (if there is any weather at all there) than Earth.

Gee, really? Because when I said fog, I thought I was talking about a completely separate concept.

Lmao. Becuase you know, all planets in other clusters have the same atmospheric conditions that allow for the EXACT same type of cloud formations as the ones on earth.
Nice try at sounding like you know what you're talking about though.

I'd say there is at least some weather. It has a reasonably Earth like environment that Shep can breath with no helmet. So oxygen-nitrogen atmosphere without too many really nasty gasses and at least a reasonable hydrosphere. That implies a weather pattern that would at least be somewhat similar to Earth. Sure there'd be some variation but it's likely that it wouldn't be too severe.
