If you either didn't had a LI in ME1 or decided to move on from him or her, which ME2 LI did you decided to go with first playthrough?

Me? I had Ashley in ME1, but I decided to romance Tali in ME2.

I'm working on a new single male shep playthrough of ME1 for Tali.

By now I've romanced all the guys and Jack in ME2. Also stayed loyal to Liara and am in the middle of a playthrough in which Shepard stays loyal to Kaidan.

I stayed celibate in ME 1 for Tali in ME 2.

The second playthrough is staying faithful to Ashley.

The third I'm prepping is going to cheat on Liara with Garrus.

ME1: None, they all suck. (Old Shepard went for Kaiden, but I don't use that character anymore. I'm using the second Shepard I made now)

ME2: I was aiming for Jacob but was completely turned off by Shepard's strange attitude when approaching him for even friendly conversation. I completed the romance with Garrus out of ABSOLUTE SHOCK he was a love interest (Never doing it again). Every playthrough since has been Thane. Damn Siha thing was too tempting to find out about and now he's my permanent choice from my Shepard.

However, I'm planning to do a playthrough where my Shepard has no romance again for ME2, to transfer over to ME3.

I know it's not strictly what was asked for but first playthrough I stayed faithful to Ash with my Paragon Vanguard, even though she's a silly cow and none of my other characters that were with her have. On the second playthrough I cheated on Liara to hook up with Miranda.
