However ... I did pick Liara way back when ... just to see how Bioware would handle teh alien thing.

I wish that Ash was Commander Virmire Nuke's LI, but then Kaidan would survive and that's unacceptable. If he survives he outranks Shephard and I already have a Kaidan (Jacob).

First playthrough I chose Tali as I never used my Mass Effect Liara save. The second time I stayed faithful to Liara as I used my original Mass Effect save.



But after realising Liara won't budge on joining me, I might go back to Tali for my thrid playthrough. I am currently starting the original Mass Effect all over again. Its a shame you can't romance with Tali in that game because atleast she is there for you in both games. So I might play through Mass Effect and not have a romance plot, and then romance with Tali in Mass Effect 2 again.

ME1: I played as femshep and settled for Kaidan since I wasn't interested in Liara and there were no other options. Then I lost my profile and started a new one where I remained single. That's my main femshep. With maleshep I romanced Liara.

ME2: Started settling for Thane until I had the talk with reach and flexibility. Gave Thane the bad news and went for Garrus. Maleshep remained faithful to Liara.

First ME playthrough I unintentially picked Ashley, so I let her die on Virmire .

First ME2 playthrough I chose nobody, but not before pissing off Jack.
So now the only thing she says to me is '**** off!' .

First ME3 playthrough I am also gonna choose nobody.

ME1: Kaidan (tragically killed on Virmire ---> none)
ME2: none (tried Jacob but re-loaded, don't believe in interspecies romance)
ME3: probably none.

My first maleShep (second game):

ME1: Ashley
ME2: Miranda
ME3: If I can't romance Miranda I'll storm the Bioware offices.

ME3: this is a hard one, if BW doesn't make Kelly a full-fledged romance then I will stay with my Kai bear.
