I was under the impression it's impossible to die playing on casual.
(I don't actually know, 'cos insanity is the only difficulty I've ever played at ... and I can assure you, I raged a lot more than you are right now 'cos ME1 requires you to play 2 **** difficulties all the way through just to unlock insanity)

Through certain members here, and other gamers, I think I speak for all RPG fans that want story most. It's kind of weird. My first game was a pain in the ass which is why this is just my 2nd time through. But for some reason, despite having spiked to level 30, and the difficulty being set to what you call "for those who favor the plot over combat", it's even more of a pain in the ass as opposed to the first time around. As I alluded to in another post, it pisses me off the enemies surround us, but not only that, THEY DON'T END. I have spent the last 45 minutes trying to pass the geth on the world Tali is to recruit her but there's no limit to the enemies. WTF? Go balls out with the combat and kiss the Halotards asses if you must, but it would be appreciate if you don't lie and act like casual is for the story fans. Thanks.
Are you on NG +?
Also.....for that collosus......Cain.

But you ask to die a lot playing on insanity, I don't ask for it.
Don't you think I've tried simply running forwards? Countless times? I'm not shooter. Never have been, never wanted to be. The only only shooter I ever liked was ME1 and let's face it, that was a pseudo shooter.

Storyline does not make a RPG. Also heres a tip, if you want to hate a game, don't have "I speak for all RPG fans" bullcrap.

I found the story and the combat both really good and I'm not a big Halo either.

Then you suck at the game. Plain and simple. There is no unlimted enimies. You point and shoot, if you spray your gun like a moron and thats your fault. ME2 is a RPG shooter. If it's too hard for you then don't play the game, the point that you are having trouble on casual is just sad.

NG + is quite a bit harder. You are expected to have all the upgrades by level 30 and in NG + you have to go without.
The Geth will keep spawning untill you kill the Collosus. I recomend the Cain.

That just makes a **** game mode .. difficulty should always be heavier at the end, not the start .. I want a "real" harder than insanity game mode, not the farce that is NG+
