Maybe it's crap for you, while others, like me, like it.

Be more open minded, or are you one of those people while they are out and a bad song starts playing, go straight to the DJ and complain??

I know, right? It completely ruins the whole game for me. Once I heard it Dragon Age was just not worth playing anymore. Or any Bioware game ever.

Actually, I can't even play games at all now because of this song's inclusion into DA's credits. It's things like end credit music that really determine a game's quality, and, sadly, Dragon Age fell short.

He could be one of those people who think Rap dominates the world.

You can't even come close to saying that the song does not fit the theme. It does almost perfectly, would you rather have some rap or country? Definitely wouldn't fit.

I could be. But no, rap is even worse than 30 Seconds to Mars. ;-)

So yeah, guess again.;)

I'd rather have something celtic or atleast something medieval-ish. not some sell-out alternative-rock crap music that doesn't fit the fantasy atmosphere of the game at all.

I'm glad the music only shows up in the credits. If it where in the game itself I would be totally pissed off. Now I'm just a little pissed off.:bandit:

I think everyone is misunderstanding the point that the OP is making. He's saying that some random pop music doesn't fit with Dragon Age not that he'd rather have Chet Atkins or whatever playing instead. Why wouldn't the credits feature an awesome classical or orchestral score like the rest of the game? Why put in some music that some may like and others dislike when you can just as easily put in a score that fits with the rest of the game? To this point I agree.

I hold that this is just one of the myriad of threads & posts seen here in the new forums that make me almost content that DAO is NOT multi-player.... *sighs*

And what does that have anything to do with pop music being part of the DAO credits?

Yeah lets face it, 30 secs to Mars really doesn't fit with the game, but some developer probably likes them cuz This is War was on one of the pre-release trailers too, iirc. Although I dont think it makes any real impact on the quality of the game; you've finished the game itself by the time said music starts playing. If you ask me what they should have put on instead......... I'd go with In the End by Linkin Park-even though the band don't really go with the game, that particular song fits perfectly. :)

And who sits through over 30 minutes of credits rolling? It seems to go on for ever. Roll over Beethoven, roll over.

I wouldn't know what music is playing in the credits anyway so it didn't come to my attention.

I hope you're joking about the Linkin Park part...

But yeah, I fully agree with you (except for the Linkin Park part, which was hopefully meant sarcastic :P).

I do, in the hope there comes a little easter-egg or epilogue after the credits. Many games and movies do that.

Yeah, having said what i said about the credits i did too...only to see what happens at the end of them. Which was nothing.

While the credits rolled i made a cuppa tea and a sandwhich :)

It is a trivial matter. Insignificant. Not worth the time to complain. And I am a Grinch by nature; one that always sees clouds in the silver linings because there is more to see. But really....Image IPB

Ahh so only people who agree with you have wits? Before you say anything along the line of "Oh but they expressed their opinion coherently" So has everyone else.

Let's keep it real here. 90% of forumers are immature. It's nothing new and nothing exclusive to this community in particular. I knew this before I came here and you should have known this too.

Most people here are immature and not "just expressing their opinion coherently". Things such as "are you one of those guys who go to the DJ and complain?" or "he could be a person that think rap dominates the world" is not what I would call "expressing their opinion coherently". It's just being lame and immature.

But yeah, everyone can be an a-hole on the internet, it's not that hard and people seem to think it's cool. But well, if you can get your self-confidence out of it, be my guest. I don't care.

Because Bioware is expecting DAO players to start wallowing in self-pity and cutting themselves during the credits?

Read the lyrics.

http://www.lyricsman...ds_to_mars.html

Do you think any of the themes in the song fit the story?

BTW, I like the classical-esque baroque scores that are present in most of the game, but I don't have any problem with modern music in the credits.

Oh for **** sake! 30 Seconds To Mars is NOT EMO. This really pisses me off when people are this stupid, they are a great band. Get over it dude, Bioware seemed to like the song. It was their choice.
