And LOL at the losers who post lyrics of some crappy song THEY like, thinking people are actually going to read that garbage or care what crappy lyrics they think fit the game more?
30 seconds to mars is IN THE GAME. And unless you mod the credits there's NOTHING any of you can do about it.
So, eat it, because the crap lyrics I've seen posted on this thread are just as bad, if not worse. Pitiful.

I'm glad I never watched the credits. That song displeases me greatly. Although I believe the root of my distaste can be found exclusively in the fact that the vocalist sounds like a pansy. Whether the lyrics are "deep" or not, IMO, is immaterial.
Jep. Though 30 Seconds to Mars used to sound better you know. Less gay and less pansy-ish. But I agree, it's just the style of the song that really doesn't fit the game.
And I know I shouldn't care, it's only the credits, but it's just lame to have finished an awesome game and then kinda get kicked in the butt with a total anti-climax piece of crap song in the credits. It's just lame.

It's a forum, a GAME forum to be specific.
game forum = a lot of complaining.
People on game forums, not just here but EVERYWHERE, just love to complain. Don't act so surprised, it's nothing new. This thread is just complaint no. 3463664893956478567. And I haven't seen any complaints about 30 Seconds to Mars being part of the trailer or the credits, so let me be the first.
Hey, at least I don't open 374876375678346578 topics about how Dragon Age should be an MMO. Maybe you should go complain about that. And there it is, the circle is complete. People make topics to complain, so other people can complain how people make topics to complain. Awesome!

Trust me thats not emo music but i am on the side of that song being very out of place.
Dressing emoish and singing emo style music is two different things.
this is true, take it you are a fan of SDRE, RoS, and Gray Matter then
most music considered "emo" nowadays is actually Scene Music same for the dress style

Scene, emo, who cares, it's all the same to me. Just a bunch of kids dressed up like wannabe punks listening to crap music thinking it's all cool and "hardcore" 'n stuff. Yeah well, f*ck that.

You heard some crap music while watching the CREDITS of all things.
Go listen to some "Freedom Call" to calm yourself down.

Heck I didn't knew that band but I checked it out and it sounds like at least that band would have fitten well in the credits of Dragon Age Origins, or at leats better than 30STM.

Yes it would have.
I'm usually more into the harder stuff but power-metal can be nice from time to time, as long as it isn't Dragonforce.

eh I prefer Blind Guardian TBH
Freedom Call is okay although for Dragon Age Iced Earth or HammerFall might be more appropriate

Emo was just a reaction to all the political and anarchistic lyrics hardcore punk had in the late 80s. What MTV calls emo music is not emo, this is emo

Yeah, that's emo by the books. But we all know the days music like that defined "emo" are long gone. The little scene kids took over and now "emo" has become crap like this.

maybe the mass media would have you believe that, but some great Emo and Screamo groups still exist I think Cap'n Jazz is reuniting even
If you want some true emo you just need to be able to dig and stealth through the Scene stuff
