33/male, been a gamer for a long time, though not as young as some others here (4? wow, props). Got into them around 6-7 years old when the local bowling center opened an arcade section inside and I started going there to play stuff like Moon Patrol, Gauntlet, Xenon and Legendary Wings.
I eventually wound up getting an Atari computer with a disk drive and my first two RPGs - Phantasie and Gemstone Warrior. Good times ever since ...

Love gaming but can't play anything without a good story. I don't understand the appeal of shooters at all.

My brother and I had a VIC-20 and a C64 when we were growing up. Then an Atari 2600 before moving onto consoles, then PC's. Crazy how fast technology moves.

Hawt older women playing video games. Hope I can find a girlfriend that plays video games. 20 and I've never had a gf, ever. Sure is D&D4Eva in here.
My last girlfriend was such a game maniac that she rather played Diablo2 all day then go out with me. Usually it's the guy that sticks in front of his TV or computer screen and the girl that whines that she wants to go out. In our case it was the other way around.
Trust me, gamer-girls are fine as long as they stay real. As soon as they start skipping college to finish a run in Diablo2 you know something is not right.

Don't remember my first video game other than that it was a box with games already on it.
The first games I remember the names of however are Super Mario (don't remember exact name) and Turok, both on Nintendo 64.
