27 and male. It's kinda nice, though... it feels like a lot of games have grown up with me.
I'm really pleased to see such a spread of people here - none of my friends play games and sometimes I wonder if I'm really such an odd one out.

Pretty sure I saw someone else over 40 around page 1 or 2. And why does it matter? It seems like everything's downhill after you hit 25 anyways so it's all relative.

started "gaming" with foos-ball and pin-ball! Moved on to pong; then pac man and space invaders -- never looked back. I watched the microsoft and apple start-ups and thought "yeah right, these guys are going to go no-where!" (oops, lousy crystal ball

learned basic programming using Fortran and punch cards !!
(Ok anyone top that? No I am NOT a liar, absolute truth above)

Games are evolving. we have quite a demographic spread here, from 14 to 62. Few forms of enertainment can be so universally appealing. I think this is all good and I'm sure the 14 yr-olds on the forum will still be playing games when they are 62.
