So i'm getting a new computer soon and I was wondering if it is, in any way, possible to get my Mass effect save from my old computer on the new one. I wouldn't like to start the game all over again when I'm really enjoying my adept.
I was thinking maybe copying the save game folder to an USB stick, then copying it from the USB stick into the folder on the new computer. Would something like that be possible? Please help!
Placing save game on another computer

Depending on your operating system (personally using XP till MS forces a new OS on me) you can copy the whole Bioware\\Mass Effect\\ directory and paste it in the same location after installation. Your achievements and saves will transfer to the new installation of the game.
On XP structure is like this: X:\\Documents and Settings\\(Your username)\\My Documents\\BioWare\\Mass Effect, not sure about Vista. (Probably an directory like My Games or similar)
Hope it helped.

Yep, you can definitely copy them as catgov63 says. IIRC I've read that Vista/7 store the My Documents files under C:\\Users\\Your Username\\
BTW, you may not want to bother copying the whole of the Mass Effect directory. The Save subdirectory has all your saves, end-game exports, and achievements, you should be fine copying just that.
