As we are all very aware by now the toolset has the power to ruin the single player campain. I had spent the past two days working with the toolset, learning as I went. In my off time I would play the game. I avoided the single player module like the plague, only once did I open it to view what scripts a character had. never saved or checked out any items. To my dismay it seems my saved game has been corrupted so far beyond repair that it no longer shows up as resume or load game. I seems my saves are corrupted because I tried all the fixes on the forums.

I took my save to my second computer and still no luck. I lost about 24 hours of play time. The obvious here is NEVER OPEN the SINGLE PLAYER MODULE in the TOOLSET period. Just don't do it or you'll screw up everything. I've removed everything that came with the toolset and the DA:O, I know people say it's a waist of time to remove DA:O but I would rather have a fresh install.

If your saves are corrupted and you have no saves before it was corrupted your just boned. I'm not upset but I am bummed and feel the need to warn people.

Never touch the single player module.

I think the toolset should have a small update that simply gray's out the single player module so that no one can even touch it. Everything is in the core resourses folders.

p.s. Never touch the single player module.

The single player module is useful incase you want to edit the single player, but can be dangerous if used wrong. its easy to fix, ill make a new thread in a second due to the huge number of these issues

By single player module, do you mean the "Main Campaign" or are you talking about single player made mods? if you are talking about the "Main Campaign", I thought it wasnt released to the public... like un-editable.

Adding it in the hierarchy is fine, but opening it causes problems. Big ones. My saves were so screwed I didn't even get the Resume option back. And when I faked a new character and added an older auto save, my armor and inventory was gone. I'm just saying: don't open the module, adding onto it with the hierarchy causes no problem. I've already done that without problems.

The toolset has a module you can open called Single Player Module, that shouldn't be opened. Yes the Main Campaign cannot be touched period but opening the single player module in the toolset causes problems to the main campaign. And playing the game and not being aware of the edits you've caused and ignorantly saving your game like a moron (myself) will ruin your saves.
