Here's the deal though: MMOs over time become less about the actual game and gameplay and more about loot, class balancing, trash communities... I could go on.Elanareon wrote...
I don't agree.) No offense but game mechanics in WoW is superb, if a little broken at balancing, compared to DA.
I like DA more though. Excellent setting, good background lore, nice stories.
I LOVE WoW. I LOVE how fluid my character feels, I love how I can redo my entire user interface, I love the smoothness of the camera, the level of customisation, and of course, the raids. But at the end of the day, all it is a glorified chatroom with everyone trying to yell louder than the next person.

To the hater who said DAO is for single player only. First off, Bioware wrote the lore and can change Dragon age into anything they please and would obviously make changes to the MMO campaign.

also, what "campaign"? the vast majority of the MMO exp. seems to be doing the same thing a million fracking times, while following an extremely silly plot that's liable to change at a moment's notice. and I, for one, don't have money flowing out of my rear so that I could actually pay for an MMO. DA is good because of its coherent story and storytelling, it does not need a $20 per month glorified chat room version.

Yep, no for MMO's. But i sure do like to experience a co-op style to play with my friends.
4-way coop anyone?
I actually kind of like that idea, way better than an MMO but still involving more than one person

I would not touch a Dragon Age MMO (even with a very long stick). And the reason for that is this.
You may ask: What does something Mythic and EA did have to do with Bioware? Look here.
Wow, that's outrageous! I'm so glad I don't play the 'paid for' MMOs. I only play free MMOs like Rappelz and that is one of the many reasons.
