Yes. Lame I'm playing on the XBox. But please help me max out a character wielding a bow.
I know there's a dexterity bug. So what should I put my points in?
I can't mod the game, and I've played thru as a mage and a warrior. Please help. Thanks.
Help me make a bow character XBox 360. Please.

well, one, it's not lame to play on the 360, personally i prefer.
Secondly, dexterity bug?! O_o My archers have been fine.
And on with the help, and your on the right lines with dexterity, but it depends what kind of character you want. Warriors do make fairly decent archers to!
If your going the Warrior way, then you'll want to go for Arrow of slaying first, basically by dumping all points in dexterity, by level 5/6 you can have it. Then go for Master archer so you can wear medium armour (for those melee fights). Specialization wise I'd say go Templar first, sounds odd but it works, you get a ranged attack from it, can cleanse negative affects off your party, and is generally very good to nuke down mages along with arrow of slaying. Beyond that it all depends on what you want, you could go a bit of duel wielding for melee support such as going for dual striking and flurry to quickly bring down targets that are too close.
Going the rogue way is a bit easier, though you'll be a bit weaker in direct melee, your ranged hits will be higher to make up for it. if your going for pure DPS (not lock picking or anything) then go for arrow of slaying first again, then go for scatter shot OR lethality in the rogue talents. Scatter shot is much better against multiple foes while lethality will help pick off bosses and elites. Specialization wise I'd say duelist or ranger first. Duelist gives you that extra defense or you can go for a pet for extra damage. from there fill out the talents you need such as master archer, and possibly lock picking.
Couple of tips hope it helps!

From what I know of rogue archers, despite the bug on console you should still pump DEX. Damage is taken from STR and DEX, and gives 0.3 for each. Going CUN with lethality will replace strength for damage, but will not help hit% from the bow, and I'm pretty sure it gives the same 0.3 as STR and DEX with the only advantage being increased armor penetration. So in short, pump DEX, increase CUN as much as you need to get to get skills and talents, and increase STR as you need to wear equipment.
