I remember I read somewhere 3 fingers is all we need. But if you look at the Quarians and the Turians, their ankle shape is alike too. I am beginning to think of the Quarians are the female version of Turians.

We will never know what is until that suit.

I actually didnt realise kal reegar was Adam Baldwin until I saw the interview. Maybe his Firefly character had a deeper tone of voice and more of a Grunt feel to him.

The word finger has two senses of use, which may or may not include the thumb, so "three fingers" and "five fingers" are perfectly valid

The only real difference between a "finger" (in the exclusive sesne) and a thumb is the number of phalanges. Have we counted Quarian phalanges yet? Wow, that sounds dirty...

Funny thing is the gene for six fingers is dominant in human, but it has been pretty much bred out of society. A few cases pop up here and there.

Then humans must be unnatural because 6 fingers are unnatural in mammals. Birds have three and can trace that to the dinosaurs.
