Is there any way to completely disable spell and talent effects?  I am aware of the Personal Annoyance Remover mod, but it's not updated for Awakening.

That helps alot, thanks...I wish it worked on draining aura, new battle mage spell with a huge red swirling affect...

The problem is that the annoyance removers change the scripts of the effects and as long as there's no new release of the Toolset, which includes the sources, the new spell effect can't be removed.

If my research is correct there is no NCS decompiler for Dragon Age yet.

Well, perhaps it is be even possible without the sources. If you catch all the events and analyze the spells' properties (when used in the game) you could find out what to change. But that effort cannot be compared to reading the sources...

Actually, many of the effects are defined in GDA files. Some are not.



I've removed the effects of Air of Insolence and Spirit Warrior in my mod. See my sig. If you want JUST the VFX removal, you can copy that folder and delete everything else.
