Also I don't think team members should be able to use Shepard's unique abilities. Having two people firing singularities or in tech armour might make things slightly unbalanced.

Who knows they might bring back some old powers from ME into ME3.
Plus there are more squadmates they havent announce yet for ME3.
Only ones i believe are Kaiden/Ashley & Liara from ME if i recall right!
Plus whoever lived threw your ME2 play-threw!

Meaning choosing who lives and dies!
Too some point that's how ME2 was but it was threw loyalty and depending on who you put in areas in the Collectors Main Base.

I guess it depends how soon BW decides to pick up ME3 after the conclusion of ME2. Will it be right away? Hmmm......
I can not remember what the Batarian's name was from BDtS that you can decide to let live and receive his help or to kill and take his pass card. I would really like to see some NPCs return from ME as squadies in ME3. I think it would create a good story arc for Balak (if left alive). EDIT: I also think it would add some more weight to the decisions made in ME and make them matter in the final chapter.

Well ME1 everyone had all weapons but specializes in two main weapons.
As for ME2 those specialize became their main weapons used.
So it would be safe to assume all SM in ME3 will have two weapons only.
Just Shepard weapons will depend on what class he is!

Biotics in ME2 were hindered by defenses and if ME3 goes the same route, what kind of benefits would Stasis have?
Locking 1 enemy would not be a great benefit. I would like to see Stasis work on enemies even with some sort of defense, but it comes with a very long cool down to balance it out.

You make a good point about the powers being shared.
My Kaiden would look more like yours. Instead of Tech Armor though I would want my BioTech armor just so the Shep. Sentinel can remain unique.
My Kaiden wish:

Liara isnt tech so you could replace that with singularity then have her bonus be stasis
vollys ammo capacity is usless SMs have unlimited ammo. then replace overload with tech armor(he is a sentinel)
