Regarding Dog, she didn't want to damage otherwise edible organs and same for Wynne.

Right, because strangulation and roasting to death are the usual methods of slaughtering more typical meat animals.

Well, that is what happens when you throw something that the mainstream doesn't accept. Killing = Ok, rape = bad basically, if I am understanding this thread well enough. I was curios to see how people would react to my post, somehow I am not surprised.

Of course killing is more acceptable than rape. Killing can have purpose and is sometimes necessary. Rape has no purpose and is done in and of itself and is never necessary.

Adding shock value to a thread like this is very unnecessary.
There is a difference between realism and a dystopian vision of the world.

Let me guess...are you a fan of the torture-porn brand of horror movies?

Not really, no. I just wanted to make the deaths as painfully as I could for story sake.

For crying out loud they are eating each other, how the hell do you expect a clean death in such a situation?!

Erm yes I would, just because they have to resort to cannablism (which in itself is
beyond stupid, the would be some kind of food on the island, floatsam
from the shipwreak and the sea doesn't magicailly run out of fish) does not mean they would inflict pointlessly painful deaths on each other. They are companions they have trusted each other with their lives in battle (yes even Alister and Morrigan), if they were to kill each other they would want the other person not to suffer.

The death you have written are made even more stupid, they have weapons.

To butcher a Firefly/Sernity quote "Burning people alive, when that get fun?"

Your assumption that every man is a rapist in waiting in quite frankly the most insulting thing I have read in a long time.

The Warden, yes. In fact it's why she gives Velanna a quick death, to spare her of her misery. Regarding Dog, she didn't want to damage otherwise edible organs and same for Wynne.

To accuse all men of being rapists in waiting is pretty nasty, particularly since rape is a crime about power, not sex.

I am not accusing all men of such, in fact I make a point of not doing it.  But to assume EVERYONE would behave in a nice, orderly fashion in such a situation is idiotic.

Nice and orderly, no.  Rape and buring someone alive are a bit beyond not being nice and orderly.  As for your death scenarios sparing organs: amazingly enough there are ways to kill that don't involve agonizing death and don't damage organs.  Spend a week on a farm.

I repeat, no realism here--just shock value.  If your Warden is that stupid and twisted she really should be the next into the pot.

Knight: Fair enough, as I do view the world somewhat like that. I have seen to much **** happen to expect something good out of it.

However, as I have pointed out, rape has been used as a form of payment throughout hundreds of years of war as some form of payment. Not necessary, I concur ( especially not my scenario ), just something to remember.

sami jo: If you could tell me of such methods perhaps I might edit my existing deaths, and change the next ones.

Actually, it's more Killing  = not ok but it was the premise here and we voted for our least favorite character (which I might add, you overrode on day one because your favorite was about to die). Needlessly violent and cruel killing (as in burning Wynne alive) = most definitely not ok and downright disturbing. Gang rape and murder = even less okay and the explanation is offensive.

Killing is disturbing, the whole point was for this to viewed disturbing. perhaps then people would actually think for a second before throwing death sentences at people.

Completely severing the jugular leads to unconsciousness in a matter of seconds (this is why a single slice with a very sharp blade is required for kosher butchering- it was considered the least painful way to bring death).  Severing the spinal cord near the skull causes instant unconsciousness and a fast death as it shocks the central nervous system.  Direct electrical shock to the central nervous system will stop the heart and do the same (you do have a mage left).

... aaaaaaand just like that I'm not having fun anymore.

Yesterday, this was a fun little exercise in black humor. But this is messed up, dude. Cannibalism is absurd. It is dark, but it is so out there we can laugh at it.

Rape is something way too many people suffer through. It is almost guaranteed there are survivors on this very forum. You took something that was darkly humorous and made it vile and way too close to real. People can write about stuff like that, but doing it here under the auspices of fun was in really bad taste.

When did I EVER say it was fun? I am sorry that I gave you impression, but I sure as hell did not intend for it to be perceived as fun. I do not take a sadistic pleasure in doing this, in fact it was hard for me to write about it.

Day 1 and Day 2 story edited slightly.

As for rape being suffered by someone on this forum. The very moment someone who has experienced such a thing comes and tells me to remove it is the moment I do. I sure as hell did not put that very violent warning for no good reason.

Ok, now we are down 2 irritating mages and one adorable puppy.

Let's see....I say, lets kill Justice. I want to eat him before the maggots get him.

Coming from the Middle East, where I was acquainted with the concept war since I was a kid, I would say this is an unhealthy way to look at the world.

Well, I live in Romania. Let's just say this place is a constant ****hole that has not changed much in 20 years. Hard to see the world in a different perspective.

Well, people apparently think killing Zevran and Oghren is preferable, don't ask me why....might be time to chew Loghain though.

I dunno.  Maybe when you modeled it after a game show and gave it a cute little graphic.  And you know what?  I don't think it is hard for you to write about.  But it sure as hell is going to be hard for some people to read when they come in here and get totally blindsided by that.

Man, be a decent human being and take it down.  You're going to hurt someone.

When I heard about it in the Zevran thread, I didn't even bother reading.

I concur, it should be taken down. Not just altered slightly.

I find it funny how fast Zevran fan girls can rally. I would appreciate it that it be taken off the Zevran thread as well, seeing as I removed it here.

And I repeat myself. I only removed it because one person who was through this kind of situation ( I believe we are mature enough not to bull**** with thing's like that )  asked me to. End of story.

No, he's too old and tough, he needs another round our two to be properly tenderized and seasoned. I think he should be stuck in a honey barbeque marinade for a day or two before he's suitable for consumption.

Oghren can wait....the dwarf is well preserved and should last a while.
