Hi there folks,

now that I got your attention, I'd like to plead to anyone familiar with 3D-Modding/etc. to create a medium/heavy armor like the japanese Yoroi (jepp, ... no more stereotypical words in here, was just to get you looking in here!).
The idea is pretty easy, ... I think the game lacks more than two or three decent looking medium/heavy armor and with me being a great fan of japanese culture and history (I actually do japan studies), I thought I might give it a shot and ask.

What I'd love to see would be like the following bits:

A Kabuto (Helmet), maybe without that fancy ornaments:

The Do (Breastplate), Sode (Shoulderplating), the Kusazuri and Haidate (Upper leg- and groinplating) building the main-body plating:

The Kote (Gauntlets):

And the Shino suneate for the legs:

Here some other complete sets to look at:

If one feels like it, one make even some nice Daishou to correspond with the Yoroi.
Oodachi (Twohanded (very long) Tachi)
Tachi
Katana
Wakazashi

Maybe some nice pairings for Twin-Weapon wielders
2x Katana
Katana+Wakazashi
2x Wakazashi

I don't think there is need to show pictures of those.

Now, ... I sincerely hope someone reacts to my begging and creates some masterpieces.

Thank you

Never know you might see this armour because each part of Thedas is supposed to be based on a particular country e.g Ferelden-Uk, Orlais-France, Anderfels-Germany. Might just see one of the others being Japanese based, hope so thay have great weapons and armour like youve shown. im definatly with you on this one :)

Even if there may be no volunteers out there, may someone give me a tip on free programs to build one on my own (3D-Programm, File Converter if needed and maybe a good tutorial/wiki to learn from)?

I am completely new to that kind of stuff, but given the fact that I have lots of those ideas, it'd be most efficient to start modding myself, so if anyone can suggest good stuff, I'm listening/reading!

Thank you
