Was thinking of buying the Collector's Edition ont he PS3 for Bergen's Honor and such for my characters once Bioware gets this Firmware 3.30 fixed. I don't wanna pay $80+ USD for it if the codes arent gonna work though.

Looks at CE card: "One-time use code available with full-retail purchase. Expires April 30, 2010"
So that's a yes. Couple possibilities:
1. They keep producing new CE copies, in which case the old codes might still work.
2. Buy it, call EA, and just refuse to go away until they give you the CE items. It's not difficult, just tedious. It's how I got them to transfer my authorizations from the PS3 to the PC.
The only other option is to get the game ASAP, and redeem the code within the next few days. Really, it's not that big a deal to not have those items. The staff and helm are good, but not amazingly great. The book that grants 3 attribute points is the most useful thing, but you can actually use an exploit to duplicate the single-point tomes and make up the difference if you want. See here:

In the end, you'd just miss out on a potential, but slight, early-game boost, and you'd have to use different equipment that's roughly as good, just with different bonuses.
