What was once readable text is now nothing but numbers and random letters. How do I fix this?

Nevermind. Somehow my language setting got changed from English to '1337' (no, I'm not kidding, that's what it's called).
I do have two questions, though. Why the hell is that even an option and how did it change by itself?

Just to be funny I guess. Facebook has a Pirate language setting.
As far as happening by itself, the only answer is that it didn't. How you accidentally set it that way will probably remain a mystery.

Yeah, somehow my language had switched to buccaneer on its own. I manually fixed it, however.

OMG the exact same thing happened to me.. 1st it was buccaneer, and then my bioware social was almost completely unreadable because it turned into leet. All of this happened on its own. I thought Bioware social was trying to be cute and everybody's font changed...

Languages could be automatically changed by clicking on URLs to this site that had &lang_id=X in them. These URLs could have come from a Google search or someone else posting a link on the forums. We have modified the language choosing code to be a little smarter so clicking a URL to this site with &lang_id=2 will no longer change your language to leet.
