There is an achievement which says something about having to use combinations of Biotic Powers on a target.
For example, using Lift to bring an enemy out of cover, then Throw to shove them off a bridge or into a crevasse.
I've never played a biotic, so how does this work?
Whenever I played Soldier (my only class), there is a 10 second cooldown before I can use my powers again (limited though it is, I only have Adreniline Rush).
So how can you cast 2 Biotic Powers, one after the other?
How do Biotics cast multiple powers in sucession?

The biotic powers have relatively low cooldowns and with upgrades can be cast quickly in succession. Squad mates can also use pull so you can use throw.

Your party members also cast biotics.

The achievement only counts warp explosions, as far as I know.
The cooldown on Shep's singularity is 4.5s, and cooldown on Shep's pull is 3s.
With class cooldown reduction, you can cast a warp almost as soon as your pull connects.

Make sure the power duration is longer than the cooldown.
Cooldown for Biotic/Tech starts the moment you use the skill.

The best way to get it is to use pull and another biotic power (warp or throw). You can also try singularity but that is best served for setting up warp explosions.

Just have Jacob use Pull and then hit them with a biotic power. Thats how I got it.

Incorrect; I got the Tactical achievement by going on Jacob's loyalty mission with him and Samara and Pull/Throwing every single enemy in sight. Was pretty fun.Tlazolteotl wrote...

In fact Warp explosions do not count for the achievement at all.

Use squadmates along with your powers

I got the Tactician Achievement without ever having Shepard do anything himself. I took Jacob and Miranda, and mapped Pull and Warp to the quick-cast buttons. I'd have Jacob use Pull on any target he could get it to work on, then use Warp while the enemy was in the air. I never had to do anything.
Also, Adrenaline Rush has a 5-second cooldown at most. It never hits 10 seconds.

They do, I got mine almost exclusively with warp explosions. You don't even need to be playing a biotic, just take Miranda on Jacob's loyalty quest and blow up all the Loki mechs with warp explosions.

To answer the question posed by the thread title... "How do Biotics cast multiple powers in sucession?". The answer is simple. They play Mass Effect 1.
