You guys just don't understand love. Grunt is way more viable and realistic to be Shep's lover than any Thane, Miranda or Tali will ever be.

I know everyone thinks that Grunt and Shepherds relationship is more on a maternal level or whatever you want to call it, but I see something different going on. I think that Grunt actually loves Shepherd. I don't know about your game but in my game he always stands so close to me during cutscenes while others stand a few feet away, he is so eager to let others know that I am his battlemaster (he smiles at me when he says these things......how many other crew members smile at you so often?) he acts proud of me when speaking to others, and more than these things I just get a feeling that Grunt and shepherds relationship is more than just maternal but that it's actually a fondness that is growing into something better. I can hope can't I.
