I'm suddenly getting choppy frame rates in cutscenes and conversations, its not all just the ones at the end of big quest chains. Which just seems odd. I tried turning down graphic options but it still happens. It gets to the point of having to force Dragon Age to close, and then restart computer. Then having to try again.

Bring up task manager and look at your resources .. Most likely your using a lot of CPU to run the game.. If you are using quite a bit.. try turning off other programs that you don't need in the background. I noticed that my game actually runs better with the anti aliasing turned all the way up to x4.. with it completely off my game was extremely choppy.. this doesn't really make sense to me but that was the case.

its odd cause I have nothing else running when it does it, the sound is disabled, low texture, low graphic detail. no aa, no vertical sync. Just odd that all of a sudden I'm getting this problem, now I'm stuck at the end of the werewolf quest.

HA! Turning off my custom content(Made a sword for my character) is allowing it to run smoothly, no choppyness.
