Face code missing

A while back I made a thread asking if I could import a mass effect 2 character for another playthrough and change his facial features without having to make a new character completely. Thanks to the help of you guys I found out that face codes can be used to do just that. The problem is, I was told that the face code was found in the top left side of the squad screen. For me it's not there. I know it's supposed to be there as I have seen screenshots that have it right above the demographics (name, level, etc.) of that custom Shepard. I play on the Xbox and all the screen shots I've seen with it are on the PC so it may be exclusive. Finally, I know that right after you create a character it shows the code at the bottom of the customization option but at the time I had no idea what it was for=P, so the purpose  of this lengthy post is to ask if you can find the face code of your current Shep without having to completely remake him/her. And as always thank you for any and all help provided:lol:
