My wife and I have been sharing an X-box for some time now. We both have separate x-box live accounts, and have been playing Dragon Age under our accounts since it came out. My wife, under her account, purchased all of the DLC available. This content was available under my account as well, until...
We bought a 2nd X-box. Since then, when I try to play under my account, it says the content is corrupted, and to d/l again. It works fine under my wife's account.
We tried deleting, then re-installing the content under her account, but it still says "corrupted" under my account.
The only way around this is for me to purchase and download it under my account. This works.
Is this broken, or is it a license issue? Do both accounts need to pay for the content?
One more thing, we are playing with the new X-box, but with the old hard drive.
I will try playing on the old x-box, and see if that works.

if i remember correctly, the licenses are tied to the console not the harddrive. if you re-dl the licenses to the new xbox, then all users on that console should have access to the content. if you go to xbox.com, poke around and look for "license transfer tool," or somthing along those lines. after transfering the licenses to the new console, you will need to delete the content from your harddrive and redownload it with the new console.
its been a while since i transfered my licenses to my new console, but i remember it was fairly simple. hope this helps.

It only depends if both Xbox's are active. Sharing one machine can allow you to have access to that content (occasionally it won't allow you to do that [see Rockband]). Some games require constant DRM to access and double check that you are the owner of the content. 2 different Gamer Tags and 2 Different Machines & Hard drives requires individual sets of content. Not a shared one.
Though it should have been a simple matter of just clicking the old HD onto the new one and it should have worked. One way to guarantee it will work is to make sure all DLC is gone, uninstall the game from the HD (if you did that, as it can cause problems) Redownload everything under the original purchaser account.
When I got my new Xbox after I RROD'd I had to go through a step by step process to "switch content" to detect my hew Hardware ID as HedStr8EyesTite said. Here is the link to the xbox page. http://www.xbox.com/...gration/faq.htm
