This stupid breather mask. Just looking at it, BW could have made a helmet for it. Just cover up the eyes with metal and viola! And ironically they release a helmet set for Shepard a few months later.

They have this problem with a lot of helmets. I found it ironic in Tali's loyalty mission that even though Thane's helmet covers his head his chest is still bare... so much for sanitation... And poor Jacob really got the short end of the stick, this thing is ridiculous.

Miranda has the same thing, at least we get to see a pretty face. Jack does, too. But I wouldn't put her on the same boat.

That's the thing about Jacob though...
He is the ONLY normal guy in the "Dirty Dozen". A lot like Shepard in several ways. The problem is that he lacks something that makes him interesting as a character to many people. JT also has a lot of loose ends that should have been incorporated into the game or at least brought up that could have been interesting. So in ME3 I'm hoping that they get into that, so that hopefully he won't go down in video game history as the guy that said "The priiize"

Jack is half naked... what good is a mask going to do her in the freezing vacuum of space, in toxic environments, or on the Quarian ship. They should have stuck with ME1 style armor and just given the crew a casual outfit to wear on board. Garrus's wearing of that armor allllll the time is seriously ridiculous. At least Jacob's makes sense. It is kinda armorish and he is in uniform as he is supposed to be. I'm just waiting for Miranda to put some real clothes on....

I would hardly call Shepard "normal." And memes are stupid, if people only remember the character for some stupid meme, that would reflect well on them.

If Jacob did have the helmet, it would look similar to the Cerberus armour and Inferno armour helmet.

Sorry I didn't mean to call Shepard normal. I meant that JT was like Shepard because he got swept under the rug in a similar way like Shepard did.

Hey I just realised that most of the biotics have a breather mask, so if BW want to fill the plot hole, they could say that they have biotics to protect themselves (if they wanted to be lazy)

I often wonder if Jacob is in his pajamas... he DID say he was in bed when the alarms went off... maybe he didn't bother to get dressed because of the killer robots... and Shepard is just to cheap to buy him real armor just like Shepard is to cheap to fix the hole in Garrus's armor....
