As I was drinking my coffe this morning trying to come up with something to ask people... it hit me. I should ask them about whether their favorite character drank tea or coffee in the morning. So what does Jacob drink in the morning... coffee or tea? How does he take it and why?

I never really thought about it....
Let me think, I guess he drinks tea, hot, no sugar, because he doesn't need coffe to wake up. He's probably reading through the Guns & Cannons magazine to learn about newest weapons and se if he can do something to upgrade Shep's equipment or Normandy's weapons. Why? Because Jacob and Mordin are the Normandy science team that is developing weapons.

I also think JT drinks tea. I would guess he's a chamomile guy that or a dark earl grey. Maybe some Rooibus to mix it up. No sugar but maybe some honey in the chamomile. Jacob is ready to face the day with a level head...

You beat me to it. Jacob is now going to be used more for all of my Sentinel Playthroughs. GPR + Incinerate Ammo + Pull = massive beat down.

When I first busted it out, I stopped to check the difficulty to make sure I was still on Insanity.  I had him equipped with Squad Incendiary Ammo as well (level 30).

It made finishing my "Jacob Challenge" playthrough a breeze.  In the "Jacob Challenge" you need to bring Jacob on every mission and only use Miranda when forced to do so.

What irritates a lot of people about his romance is the way Shepard acts and speaks around him, even when not choosing flirty lines.  It's not Jacob's fault, but there you have it.

There's also the priiiize line. I think that bothers people as well. JT's romance is very sweet up until the end romance scene. His lines kinda kill it... but so do Shep's. Then again... Thane spends a lot of time talking about his dead wife and shep spends her time making inappropriate com ones... but the romance scene, imo, is very sweet. Then there is Garrus... that's my over all favorite honestly for femshep... I admit it is a bit juvenile and awkward but I like the match and Garrus is an awesome character.

I was doing my best not to bring it up.  No other ME romances can have their flaws highlighted by such a poignant meme.  I mean, Kaidan has his awkward "JOKER IS WAITING FOR YOU ON THE BRIDGE" line when Shepard wants more action in ME1.  And Ashley recites poetry.  Poetry.  But it just doesn't compare to Jacob's delivery of the prize line.

Personally, I think the romance for JT was ruined because of FemShep sounding like she got hot with missile launcher every time she walks into the armoury. Not blaming on Hale, since she's one brilliant VO, but does she have to sound like that?

and still..despite that prize line...look how popular it is...i heard it dozen of times asociated with different topics..and not in a bad way...so from a chessy like..to a very popular line...hehe

I don't resent the prize line. This thread started as a prize/fan thread after the original got locked down. Some people even came to appreciate JT more because of it. Even though we don't really do priiiize stuff here anymore due to reasons related to el banhammer it's not something that is un-acknowledged. I agree that Fshep seems like she is going to jump JT every time she talks to him... I honestly click through that... but I found both Sheps a bit to forward overall. Mostly I blame bioware for laziness. ME1's romances may not have been the best ever written but at least they had some flow. ME2 is overly blunt and formulaic for me.

I don't get the ref. Axe... but don't drink too much of that good stuff or you'll have the bad stuff in the middle of a mission.

Jacob's is really well-done up until "but the priiiiiiiiiiiiize."

Also, I am of the firm belief that Jacob Taylor drinks coffee with cream, but no sugar. I have no idea why this came to mind.

I just played through Jacob's romance scene followed by Miranda's. His scene and the build up was the best of them both. What scene is more cheesy than having sex in the engine room when the captain's quarters is available? Jacob prize line didn't stand out much other than the fact it has been repeated ad nauseam on this forum. I'm sure worse lines have been said in A list films. Miranda's cheesy ".....I cleared the engine room." gets a pass.

I don't get the engine room thing... I mean... it's probably spotless since Tali spent most of the game cleaning down there and what not but... laying on metal doesn't sound appealing... nor does kneeling on it. Maybe Miranda and JT split up because of a disagreement about where to have sex... she was all... metal floor and he was all.... but my kneeeeees..... and the windoooowwwwsss..... all the nice windows... I just don't get it... I wasn't thrilled with Jacob's lines but at least he chose some where comfy...

Miranda is the only romance that dosen't happen in bed...for all i remmember..wonder why she got a nice bed in her office.

Well on a weird list...Jacob is the only one shirtless in romance scenes(Jack dosen't count)...reminds me of the pictures in Kaidan support thread...)
