Thanks for the support Gash it makes me feel better. It really shocked me that people would think that lol. People must not know Jacob well enough I guess. I wonder if people would think the same thing if it was a more popular character...

Probably not, but thyen also this thread would've been longer, I hope if Jacob makes it to ME3 thast he will have a better role, maybe it will make him more popular?

I'm not sure what role Jacob will fill.... but I also hope is much bigger... and involves pancakes... I'm hungry...

Honestly, a relatively minor change like giving him Cryo Ammo instead of Incendiary Ammo would probably make more people give him a second chance.

Now it's too late for something like that, personally I say he should've gotten overload instead of the ammo or maybe he should've gotten the Vanguard Charge in the same style Grunt has his Krogan Charge.
Also I would've replaced his pistol with a AR or based on ME Galaxy he should've gotten a heavy weapon.

I don't think the squadmate AI would handle Vanguard Charge well at all.  They can't even use melee attacks.

Charge, AR, Cryo Ammo? Sounds like good editions. Although in Galaxy he was basically a Sentinel with an AR, Heavy Weapon, and Heavy Armor. I do like using the Geth Shotgun with Jacob.

That would be good lol.  I'm bad enough with regular charge... getting myself into trouble... or walls or on boxes... then hopeing there are enemies left so I can get down @_@

I don't have the Firepower pack, mainly because I'm playing SCII now, few new cool weapons aren't enough for me too return to ME2, unless I would get the Spartan Laser.

I didn't saw you here in a long time Corporal, welcome back!

After few moths of the death of my fic it has returned and it also went through a rewrite, chapter 7 is almost done.

Here's the rewritten version, names are changed for verious reasons and some parts are added, but JT is still present.

I remember a comic about that...
Vanguard charge would've been much more awesome if Shepard was as powerful as ME1 Shepard, then charging in a group of enemies and owning them would've been much more fun and easier...

I'd like Grunt's charge if I could control when he uses it. He leaves cover to do it when there are multiple hostiles shooting at him, when he has low health and sometimes he doesn't kill the target. Not good. It's a wild card technique.

Just poppin' in to say I like Jacob. FemShep's lurid pursuit of Jacob, not so much. But he's a good guy, it seems. And he's got the best bod of any other dude in the game, that's for sure.

Hello! Indeed, FemShep behaved like... MaleShep in that case,m I can see Sheploo smiling in her head...
If Bioware didn't fraked up his romance so much his body might had gotten us more femlae supporters, since we most of us are dudes that like Jacob and his Bromance, not the romance, but still Jacob is the only one that says "I love you" and if Bioware made his romance lines better he would've been the best romance...

Yeah I'm still fighting the good fight. I'm been trying unsuccessfully to give my bioware games an break. I just beat Dragon Age again and I have couple of Shepards going on the PC version of ME2. Yes I have ME1 and ME2 on PC and 360. I think I need an intervention. I'm kind of glad ME1 isn't coming to PS3 because I could see myself buying both games....AGAIN.
