I feel the same about that whole situation, I may like Morinth but I don't feel sorry for her.Darc_Requiem wrote...
Edit: I don't feel sorry for Morinth in the slightest. I feel sorry for her two sisters that were Asari enough to take isolation over a life of seduction and murder. I feel sorry Samara because she unknowingly passed this afflictions to her daughters, two them live in isolation, and third decided that nuking nervous systems would be fun past time.

Oh I went to the aforementioned Jacob quote thread and gave my two cents.

I addressed this issue in the Jacob Taylor support group a couple of months ago. My opinion was the same as yours. Maybe Bioware overestimated the maturity and comprehension ability of their target audience. It was pretty clear that Jacob was saying in a polite way that Miranda is not his type. I never got the impression during the game that Miranda meant much to Jacob at all. Miranda seemed to be the one holding on to the past "I always keep my promises". Jacob didn't even remember what the promise was or even care to remember which is a clear indicator that he has long moved on.

Garrus: Sweet but it feels like the writers just took the opportunity to make dirty jokes about inter-species relationships too far... practically every conversation with him has some wise crack about it. Though his awkwardness is cute as is the end scene.
Thane: "I haven't told any one about my wife before" and he doesn't stop telling you... Femshep "Wow that turns me on lets do it"
JT: Great guy but the lines... the way femshep talks to him... but I give him real credit for giving her a chance to unload and talk about her problems. Though I am among those who wish he would open up more... but just because I want to know more about him because he is an interesting character.
Tali: Seems like a little sister too me so no ty... also shepard rapeface gives me nightmares.
Jack: Favorite Mshep romance but I prefer to think they don't sleep together... it seems like she needs a friend and a hug and is in too vulnerable of a place to be in a healthy relationship.
Miranda: Cute but... the engine room? I feel like it is over sexualized... though the same could be said for JT.
So all in all I don't find any romance to be perfect. Jacob's may have more obvious flaws because every time Femshep talks to him she sounds like she wants to get it on and the prize line stands out pretty nicely. But all in all his romance is very nice and doesn't really seem to have any more flaws than the others... at least in my opinion. As for the ME 1 romances... I find them either backstabbing or a little too crazy... Liara is probably going to kill me... XD At least Jacob will never turn on me. He'll stay by my side as a romance or as a friend whether I'm with Cerberus or not. And if something horrible happens and the reapers get me he'll be man enough and friend enough to end me and carry on what needs to be done. I don't see him going totally crazy either, he seems very stable and well adjusted. And even if he did go crazy it would be epic...

I don't feel sorry for her in the slightest... but sometimes you need a little evil on your team.

And now better news! I have put in UTSC Trafalgar on ff.net it's the Good Stuff, but with names changed, few things added and a new chapter, and the 8th is almost done.

I just can't betray Samara.... I can hardly do anything renegade... I let Elnora go everytime.... ;-;
I had an easier time doing renegade actions in ME1 because outside of a few major decisions it was different means to the same end. It was more of Shepard being bad ass. In ME2, the Renegade options are less about being a badass and more about being a bad guy/girl. That said, I don't mind ventilating Elnora in the slightest. I was angry with myself for letting her go on my first playthrough. I've made sure to give her a lethal injection of hot lead on every other playthrough since. The sick joy she expressed in killing that volus makes me want to give her to Morinth as a gift. Elnora and that Batarian bartender on Omega get the Renegade option every time.

But that would never happen, the reaction time of mods in case of a character hate thread depends on the popularity of the character, sadly Jacob lacks it... <_<Darc_Requiem wrote...
Ah it's okay. I don't blame you. I honestly wouldn't mind so much if they held every other squad mate to the same standards.

I really struggle with the Elnora decision.... now that I've played I know she is bad and I want to kill her but... then I think... Shepard can't know that and so the right thing to do would be to let her go and give her a second chance. But I struggled with it the first time too because I know that the Eclipse have to kill some one to join and so I know she's a killer and I don't show any one else mercy.... it's a hard choice for me to make every time but I almost always end up letting her go...
Does Jacob say anything later when you find the evidence that she killed the volus?

JT was the only one who seemed interested in getting to know Shepard.

You see that's the thing. Shepard can know she's a killer. Shepard learns and you do, depending on how much you explore that Eclipse sisters have to kill someone to join the gang. One thing I noticed about ME2 is they will give you hints to what character really is. Sometimes I pick up on the hints, sometimes I don't.
