They had sexy time with the Predators when the camera wasn't running to survive? I'm sure they are enough fangirls that dream about that...Sand King wrote...

My FemShep romanced Garrus in ME2, but I still have Liara...Festi wrote...

Yeah
I'm been posting in the new Jacob thread. Figured I'd point out the
flaws in all the romances and how all of Femsheps romances suck. I still
have to chuckle about the Jacob hate though. I mean Garrus flat out
tells Shepard that he doesn't find humans attractive, comes into her
room mid shower without knocking with a bottle of alcohol, plays cheesy
music, and says "her waist is supportive" and he has fangirls. How do
you figure?
This
is true. I like the Garrus Femshep pairing. I do think the writers
could have done a better job with the lines though. A few jokes are ok
but it seems like they were just trying to make fun of the whole thing
the whole time... the end scene makes up for it though... it's really
sweet.
But Garrus was also relatively popular from ME 1 anyway...
all poor Jacob got was a game I think a lot of people haven't played.
Those guys in the hate thread don't even seem to acknowledge what may
have happened in galaxy... but its people who don't like JT any way...
soooooo
I'm sure most of them never actually talked to JT...
WE SHALL SPACE THEM!!!!

We should glass them from orbit!Darc_Requiem wrote...
Spacing them sounds good. I say we have a "meeting" in the Cargo hold. When they show up, we can accidentally open the cargo bay doors. Blame it on a glitch in EDI's programming.
Poor Jacob always gets all the hate
But if we glass the haters Jacob would be pleased!

I think part of it was the size of your squad. The squad mates in ME1 seemed to have more dialog.

Yeah, I think they got kinda carried away with the squad mates in ME 2. Now no matter what they do some one is going to be upset abotu ME 3. And if they get rid of Jacob....

I hope they don't add any more new characters. Imo what makes me like characters is getting to know them. If they throw new characters at me every game I start to get detached. Especially when there are so many and such a small amount of dialog to get to know them in. ME 2 was pushing it for me... if they do even more in ME 3 that may just be my limit.

I wonder what the opinion is of Jacob outside of the minority on these forums ( ie the average buyer/player). I wouldn't be suprised if it was different. Bioware ignored much of what was said about ME1 and turned ME2 into more of a shooter. They may choose to ignore the Jacob haters especially since much of their criticism is nonsense.

The people that I know that have played ME2 like Jacob. The reason that it seems that not many like Jacob is because about 95% percent of people on this forum are ether Talimancers or Anti-Cerberus, some times both.CC-Tron wrote...

Besides that... we now have the requisite 2 humans on the team... and I honestly like them more because they stick with me no matter what side I'm on and they let me explain what I think before stabbing me in the back with distrust. I don't even know what to think about Liara... she was my ME 1 romance and BW says there will be consequences but I'll call BS on that. Mostly because the "big choices" in ME 1 really had no effect on ME 2. "Ah yes big choices...." Save the council, don't save the council w/e... "Ah yes follow through....."
Honestly I almost didn't eve play ME 2. When I saw that I wouldn't get my old crew back I was really miffed. What convinced me was Garrus's return... and I would have been pretty mad if Tali hadn't come back. It was lame to loose Wrex who is one of my favorites but at least he has a good excuse... it was some lame crap for the VI and Liara...

I think they handled the Virmire survivor that way to ensure that they along with Liara would be alive no matter what in ME3.

I think all of your squad should be able to die in ME3 and that it should be harder to keep them alive than it was during the 'suicide' mission.

Edit: I hope you can spill drinks at Darkstar Lounge with Jacob in ME3. I can see the conversation between him and Shepard that hooked up with Miranda.
Jacob: "You are better man than I am Shepard. I couldn't put up with Miranda's ego and her bull****."
Shepard : "Why do you think I started drinking so much Jacob?"
Jacob: "Just lay off the ryncol, last time Grunt had to carry both of us back to the Normandy."
Grunt: "You humans are heavier than you look."
