We're not making fun of him and we not make fun of The Priiize. The Priiize is serious business.askanec wrote...
All these priiiiiize reference seems to be making fun of Jacob in his fan thread. I thought the whole scene was not bad.

PS: Did you really thought that the scene wasn't bad?

It is the most memorable romance scene in the game and is also the most awesome.

Definitely, I support Jacob's romance scene. I don't see why people keep going "heavy risk.. priiiize" like it's some inside joke. The scene's not bad. Go, Jacob, go!
In comparison, Garrus scene made me cringe so much. Just what did Bioware do to Garrus?

IMO, the Garrus one is especially Creepy...
And also, View the priiize as us ****ing Bioware for their poor romance writing on Jacob. Man, I just saw a couple of the scenes of the build-up of the romance and most are great... Then you hit the romance... And flatline...
Give a bro a chance...

Romance? I thought it was just a "let's have sex!" fling with most of the ME2 love interests. For a fling, the "priiizzzze" scene makes sense, since it's basically about mutual physical attraction.
With only 3-4 conversations in the Normandy, there isn't exactly a whole lot of room for romance developments.

And don't forget that in all the conversations during the build-up of the romance Shepard sounds like a sexual predator. Mix all with the dull lines of the last scene and you've the poorest romance in Mass Effect until date.
The priiize meme is the best way for Bioware to take notice that they must improve Jacob, or the poor man has a heavy risk of being remembered by a cheesy line of dialogue.

The problem is that Jacob throw specifficaly the line "I love you" during that scene, so no, it's not just casual sex, for him at least.
