I don't get it .  But it reminds me that I think Jacob would look awesome in one of the suits from Iron man... Black and Orange of course....

The money goes towards keeping all the ladies away.... it's an expensive and dangerous buisness but it must be done or the Normandy will be overwhelmed...

A while ago some one asked about an alternate romance scene for Jacob. This is the result. Didn't come out as well as I wanted but I'm glad it's done.

Keeping the ladies away also includes getting more handkerchiefs (for the long-distant drooling of course). Also put insurance for keyboard breaking (also from the long-distant drooling).

And nice work Festi! Kind of wished that there was some courtship with Jacob's romance, since he obvious does care for Shepard. Just that BW ruined it by forgetting to fill in the gaps before the shirtless time.

Courtship would have been nice.  I think I prefer when the NPC's take some initiative from time to time.  Alistair, in Dragon Age, comes to mind.  I can see why Jacob would be hesitant to make the first move, though, what with the chain of command to consider.

I know it's impractical for the game but I think courtship between the Commander and Jacob would have been easier in an open setting or a group gathering. That's one reason I came up with the idea I guess of an outing for the crew to replace the romance. It would be an environment that is more relaxed and where the sense of impending doom is downplayed. It would also offer a chance for interaction of a more intermediate nature rather than just jumping from the talking phase to the lets do eet phase. I imagine, the Normandy being a small ship, that pretty much everyone knows who the Commander is flirting with. Mordin and Kasumi clearly know and if you are trying to romance more than one person they romance rivals are clearly aware. So if Shepard and Jacob say had a dance together or something it wouldn't be a shocker for the crew and it would be a more relaxed way to interact. Also I'm just a fan of out door gatherings... and dancing...

In my current playthrough, pure Paragon, Jacob is the only one which can be fully trusted and has similar views on Cerberus. Mordin is weird, Garrus is renegade, Miranda is the Cerberus ****, Zaeed still is like a Blue Sun, and so on. In late game, Samara and Tali join the club of like-minded people, but that´s basically it.

I was thinking about this other thing too... what if Jacob had a jet packt hat was powered by the good stuff and the bi product was rainbows?
