I think your custom Hawke looks good Darc, even if he isn't a Jacob double. To the very least it lets me known it's possible to make a good looking black character.

Popping back to say thanks for all the positive feedback on the banner. Not a huge Jacob fan, but I think he's earned himself a slot in the ME3 party roster, don't you?

I think so. I'm really hoping he has a nice role what with Cerberus chasing after Shep. My guess is Bioware is going to "retcon" Jacob and Miranda quitting and give them the "conflicting loyalty" story.

Jacob is an LI, he won't get sidelined. I think that at the very least, he'll be a temporary squad-mate. It will be curious to see how he'll differ depending on the condition of the Collector Base. Jacob was never really a die-hard follower of Cerberus in first place so with Shepard being heckled by them, his allegiance with them regardless might be severed.

I agree on both counts, all of the LI should/need to be in ME3 and hopefully Jacob's involvement will be interesting due to the Cerberus factor mentioned.

I'd like to see Jacob back in ME3, and like every other LI, I'm sure he will be back in some capacity. I did romance him in one playthrough, though for that particular Shepard it wasn't really a 'romance' so much as a fun way to relieve some stress.

But I liked Jacob, and like Kaidan, I think he got kind of a raw deal because he wasn't as 'exotic' as some of the alien characters. I do think his story could have been better, but I enjoyed the character well enough that it didn't bother me too much. Besides, he still owes me a drink back at the Citadel.

True but I really liked Festi's art. I was surprised when Festi drew an illustration for one of my convos. I was touched. Now that ME3 news is coming to light hopefully we hear some news about Jacob's role in the next game. Given the Cerberus tidbits, I'd expect both he and Miranda to play some sort of significant role in the game.

I believe that bioware will give all the LI:s attention and time. Hope so anyways. I want to have on F!Shep to romance Jacob but I just haven't had time to get around to it yet. At the moment there is a lot of DA2 going on.

I hope so too. I'm sure Bioware will give all the LI a decent role, even if it is a simple cameo appearance. I'm more concerned that Bioware will change Jacob to make him quirky. Slap on a weird trait and call it a day. The main thing I like about Jacob is that he doesn't suffer from an abnormal defect or have any crazy or aggressive traits. He's just a soldier who wants to make a difference in the galaxy. He's practically a companion version of Shepard.

Bioware confirmed that the Sniper from the ME3 teaser video was not James Sanders. So I don't know how reliable that info is.

I'm calling BS on that article. Ignoring them calling Ash a Xenophobe , the article is claiming squad members are returning based off their own predictions.

Yeah, I saw. From what I can see, it looks like the magazine is speaking only of those who ARE confirmed and speculating on those who aren't confirmed. So the rest are about on the same level as any person on these boards speculating about the team.

Maybe it's because I'm an optimist but I don't think I'll be taking that article to heart. Not until Bioware confirms (or denies) all of it.
Saying Liara is an unlockable squadmate after LoTSB, calling Ash "chesty", sniper guy as James Sanders, saying you had to kill Morinth or she'll kill you, calling Legion a defector and of course replacing Kaidan Alenko's face with Peter Andres just screams "I have no idea what the f*** I'm doing!".

Oh and I love this little Jacob Taylor snippet in there, "He was the least popular of your crew on the Normandy 2". He was? Oh! Thanks for speaking on my behalf PSM...

I have to wonder, if Jacob doesn't return to Cerberus, what do you think his role would be. I don't see him becoming a Crusader for Justice like Garrus. Maybe return to the Crosair's? In his Dossier, they even offered to increase his rank.

I like to think that Jacob will have some kind of pivotal role in coming to Shepard's defense in her/his trial. If done well, it could do wonders for expanding upon his place in the saga.
