Wow....this whole thread is completely nuts. I just ran across it while doing Jacob's loyalty mission. Jacob is a cool character though. It's nice to have one "normal" crew member. Jacob and Shepard can spill drinks while discussing how they both saved the Citadel.

I have to say though, you think there would be some sort of gym on the Normandy. Jacob is ripped. I think he could take Grunt in an arm wrestling contest. 

Side note: I thought it was just me, but everyone I've asked seems to think Jacob looks just like Lamman Rucker

The difference is that Jacob actually works out. Grunt is simply born all muscular. Give him some burgers and potato chips and he'll grow into a tubby Krogan in no time.

That said, Grunt will probably win though.

I didn't know who that was until I looked it up, but he sort of does. I think this looks more like Jacob though (from Rucker's Wikipedia page):
