It's done, please remeber that it's night in Holland (1:50AM) so they may be some stupid grammar mistakes:
I'll be using The Haloverse and the ME universe and some of my own idea's for UPSC
History of the UPSC universe:
After WWIII Earth was split in 6 big Unions (pic).
In 2050 Humans began to run out of fossil fuels, tensions between the Unions started to raise, it looked like Humanity would start fighting again and this time it could mean the end of the world. But then Frank Taylor, an ex-politician now a scientist of The Western Union
had finally finished his development of his project, nicknamed "The Priiize", that project wass a fully working and safe Hydrogen Engine that generated more power the a regular engine. Frank Taylor wanted one thing for his engine: earth should have a one united Government, the Countries can keep their culture and their Governments,
but their Governments will answer to the United Earth Government. Seeing that the only alternative was a war, the Unions agreed. Frank Taylor was choosen as the represantative of The Western Union. Since then there's always a member of the Taylor family in the UEG Council.
In 2123 Humans have developed a Slipspace drive for their spaceships. Their first generation of drives wasn't very fast, only 4-5 lightyears/day. UEG has decided that they should build a Military Fleet before they started exploring, so they formed United Priiizes Space Command, nobody knows why it's called "Priiizes" instead of Earth. UPSC had finished their first frigate at 4th july 2124.
They called it the Enterprise, just like the first Human sub-light speed ship that was built for exploration of Sol and the first Human Space Shuttle.
In 2130 Humans have discovered their first habitable planet, Reach. UPSC started colonizing Reach, they also stationed a Military Base there, just in case the Aliens are real.
After 2130 UPSc started to find more habitable worlds or easy to Terraform wolds.
In 2147 Humans started to replace their old bullet weapons with the high tech MAC rifles.
In 2367 Human Empire was 117 colonies big and their fleet counted 300 ships. On planet Shanxi Humans made a big discovery, there was a underground structure. Nobody knew who build it. The interior was silver with light blue lights and it was made of a very strong metal. But what Humans knew was that this structure was importanant, they've recovered strange crystals that served as data storage. On this crystal was information about a Slipspace drive,
a very advaced Slipspace drive. Whith help from the data crystals Humans have upgraded their Slipspace speed from 69LY/D (light years/day) to 343LY/D.
In 2398 Humans strange thing started to happen with Pharos (ice moon orbiting Tenatlus, one of planets in Epsilon Eridani System, the same system were Reach, the largest Human colony and second largest military base, is located). The moon started to melt and it was shaking and then the moon exploded leaving a strange structure behind. It had a strange spinning blue thingy. UPSC ships were sent to investigate.
But then suddendly 10 strange small ships appeared, UPSC Crazy Horse hailed one of the ships and they responded. A strange creature appeared on the screen, it was greyish it had mandibles and a head fringe. They started to talk in some strange language, but luckily UPSC translator also worked on Alien languages. The Alien said:
"I am Captain Zeharn from the Heavy Cruiser Krynonis, we come in peace!"
Captain Cole whispered to Admiral O'Neil: "Of course they come in peace, our frigates are bigger then their have cruisers" O'Neil smiled
The unknown species were called Turians, the uknown object that they arrived trough was called a Mass Relay.
They were more Mass Relays in the Galaxy and more Alien species.
At 7th July 2398 a human delegation arrived at the Citadel, they've suprised the aliens by arriving trough a Slipsspace portal, not trough the Citadel Mass Relay. The Council was intimadated by the UPSC, their ships were enormous and powerful and they didn't knew anything about Slipspace, so they've decided to give Humans a Council seat and treat them with respect.
Jacob Taylor serves in the Navy or Army we've to decide that, while his father is a Councilor (he's different in this universe)
It's 31st december 2426 at the moment the story starts.
UPSC Navy:
Fleet Admiral John Gash is the CO of the UPSC navy.
Fleet size: 700 ships

Major Allen Axe, a kid who has been given the honor and privilege of being thrown into the arena of quarian politics as ambassador for the UPSC. His success with his early negotiations with the quarians has given him an early promotion to major.
Personality wise, Major Axe is a mix of Ambassador Udina and Kaidan Alenko. He is fiendishly clever and willing to kiss ass for the sake of diplomatic relations, but has a kind and gentle core.

There was a pretty brutal Troll Raid on the Talimancer homethread, As ambassador I was deployed as damage control and relief. I felt that the thread was thankfulf for my topic ideas and questions about fanfic, our two peoples became a little closer today I feel.

You'll be the commanding officer of the UPSC Marines on The Good Stuff, do you want to be friends with Admiral Gash or be more formal to him?

UPSC has also problems with Insurrection, only on a lesser scale.

Few years after first contact Insurrectionists started to recieve help from non council races that
hated the UPSC. Batarians are one of the races that helped them. Batarians
wanted the same star system tha UPSC wanted, UPSC had decimated their fleet
witout a problem.
The Council isn’t led by any of the four species, but because the Alien races doesn’t want to
****** off the Humans, so they agree on almost everything that the Human Councilor
wants.
Fleet Admiral John Gash
Age: 47
Place of birth: Reach
Personality: He’s a natural leader, that’s why he’s the Fleet Admiral. He hates Insurrectionists, because they’ve killed his father. He cares about his men, but if he must sacrifice
them to complete, he’ll do it. He’s not married, he doesn’t have time for it
and sometimes he appears to be in love with his ship. He enjoys watching old
Sci-Fi series, he has a whole collection of them in his quarters, he also
quotes people from the sries his watches. Captain Sand is his closest friend
and his XO, Sand could get his own ship (Gash can give him one, he’s the Fleet
Admiral), but he rather stays on the Good Stuff as the XO of his friend.
Military career: He enlisted when he was 18, following his
father’s footsteps who died after his ship was destroyed by the Insurrectionists. The first ship he served on
was a frigate, UPSC Al Alamein. At age of 28, Commander John Gash was the XO of
a destroyer, UPSC Pegasus. Pegasus was a part of a small fleet (4 frigates, 2
destroyers and 1 cruiser) under command of Admiral Ackbar (I think I’m allowed
to include a small joke) that had a task to invastigate a possible Innie (Insurrectionists) hideout, but they didn’t knew that were walking
right into a Innie trap. Innies had assasins on all ships on the fleet, they
task was to assasinate all officers to cause panic on the ships and then Innies
could take out the fleet without a problem.
Most UPSC officers didn’t wore sidearms on their ships in that time, so
taking them out won’t be difficult. The assasins succeded at killing all
officers, except Gash, because he had his father’s M9e “MACnum”
with him and he knows how to use it. He hates to admit it but he enjoyed killing
that f*cking Innies. Because he was the only officer left he assumed direct
control (I’m sorry for this stupid joke) of the UPSC fleet and under his
command the fleet engaged the Innie fleet, they were outnumbered 5 to 1, but
they won, with only minor damage to their ships. For this Gash recieved a
promotion to Rear Admiral and his own ship, a Dreadnought , UPSC Yokohama. Gash
was one of the best Admirals and also one of the youngest. At age of 40 he was
promoted to Fleet Admiral after Fleet Admiral Cole had retired. Because of his
rank he recieved a new ship, a Battlecruiser, UPSC The Good Stuff .
Staff Sargant Jacob Taylor is the son of Councilor Ronald Taylor, he’s skilled with AR’s, heavy
weapons (Spartan Laser, Rocket Launcher, Portable Guass Cannon etc.). He hates
when people treat him like he’s special because he’s the son of the Councilor
and he’s a Taylor. He doesn’t like politics. He serves on UPSC The Good Stuff.
UPSC weapons and vehicles
(only the important ones):

accurate then Mass Accelerators, but they still use clips, like in our time.
