Yeah I visited that thread,  I even submitted a couple qualms about the character (switch between him and Miranda) however it seems people want more EXTREME characters like Velanna rather than a rounded character like Jacob. After playing many video games, especially Black Isles/Obsidian I have come to the conclusion that Bioware really doesn't do a good job in creating characters (as a whole) which is why you have Bioware fanboys bash Jacob because he is a bit more progressively developed than say the characters from KOTOR or Jade Empire.

I'm not really planning to have a main character.
It will start with an introduction chapter about the life aboard UPSC Good Stuff. Ssgt. Jacob will arrive later (propably second chapter), then it will switch from different characters. There will be something about Gash. Jacob, Axe, King and Cpt. Sand. Everybody will have their moments, but not every character will be in every chapter.
I'm planning to start with chapters only about life aboard The Good Stuff so you can know the charataters better and then they will be  missions that will lead them to the main enemy (I have a few idea's forthem, but they're not Reapers), but that can change.

"Progressively developed"?! That's a laugh.  Jacob can be summed up in one catchphrase: "token black guy".  That's about as progressive as a glacier.

I like well rounded charcters who have a personality like Ashley not flat bores like Jacob.

I really like the idea of having "Character Chapters" very Quentin Tarantino, who is one of my favorite directors/writers. I look forward to reading some of your first works.

To be honest that's an idea I got from watching Battlestar Galactica (from who do you think Gash got his addiction to Sci-Fi?), alot of episodes had storys of few characters and they just switched from character at good moments. That makes sure that you'll enjoy the episode, because if you don't like a certain characters, you just have to wait out the scene to get another one.
Other thing I liked about BSGF was that they liked to kill off characters that were to annoying, except Gaius Frrracking Baltar, that moron betrayed Humanity and in place of dieing he was f*cking hot Cyclons, but they compensated by making him suffer alot of times.

I just come up with an idea how Gash will execute Innies: Give them a space suit, load them in the MAC, aim at an asteroid and fire. I call it MAC'ing.

Tommorow I'll propably make Cpt. Sand's & Claude's Serina's (Godd Stuff's AI) profile and intruduce you to other characters.
I don't really have time to write a full chapter until thursday, so you have to wait.
I want to make the first chapter a good one, I don't know how fast I'll be updating, propably once-twice at week at the beginning, it may be faster after few chapters.
I'll also propably upload the fanfic to Fanfiction.net after I've written few chapters, so it's easier to read.
