I tend to think the renegade ending for Ronald Taylor is somehow the more humane option, the easy option. Not only can you say you didn't kill him, you gave him the easiest end to what he knew was a bad situation. One shot, the juvenile fantasy is over and any fear of harsh punishment is over. The neutral response is much worse because you never quite know what's going to happen, how long it's going to take, and when death will finally come.
That said, I usually take the paragon option. For justice. And paragonness. And stuff like that.

Most Paragon options are too cliche for me (my opinion), in every movie the classic good guy (Cpt. Picard is a good example) will take him to jail, I'm bored with the classic good guys.

The only time I choose a Paragon option is with people I like and few other moments.

greetings from the ashley thread i like jacob a good deal he is one of the few ME2 sqaudmates that survied my main playthrough most were killed off (for dramatic effect,not beacuz i dislike them)

Welcome ashlover mark 2! It's always good see people who don't hate Jacob, that poor guy gets too much hate.
I'm glad Jacob survived your suicide mission, I have only have one casualty in one of my playtroughs. Tali got a rocket to her face, because she wasn't loyal (my renegade score was to low and I've picked Legion's side).

Just out of curiosity, was there any specific planning on who wouldn't survive your suicide mission, or did you just run in blind and choose to accept whatever outcome the mission gave you?

I know a lot of people have done the former, but I have respect for someone who will stick with the decisions of the latter.

Thanks:D Have you noticed that your character was mantioned in the 1st chapter btw? Your character will be included when I add some ineraction between the Marines. Chapter 4 will take a while to finish, I only have some time to write at thursday, but it will be better then the previous chapters.

ash is my fav sqaudmate,but i like too think her and jacob have crossed paths on eden prime before.



@pacifien not really,at first everyone survied but that got boring after awhile,then i did a playthrough were only jack died.on this playthrough i chose spesfic ppl that i knew would fail or die in certain jobs,so yea i guess you can say i planned it out.but again ONLY for dramatic purposes i want the story too actualy feel DARK and GRITTY.

It'll be propably the same as the regular meeting between Ash and Shep, but without the hug. Jacob is also a part of the EVIL Cerberus that works with The Reapers and the Collectors!

We will never know the truth, maybe Jacob was watching 110 years old porn and he thought that it might be cool to say it. I hope Bioware will do something about his romance and let maleShep actually spill some drinks on the Citadel with him

Thanks for doing that, I forgot about it that the "can't find your favorite character" still considers us as a joke thread. I also saw the previous "official" thread, it doesn't look like a proper fan thread.

Greetings from the Tali thread. I know our respective characters aren't on the best of terms but I want to lend my support to this thread. Jacob has grown on me, he's like my second bro after Garrus and has some pretty funny lines.

Yeah no worries.  I'm mostly content to be a silent stalker on these boards, but the sheer amount of anti-Jacob-ism prompted me to speak up.
