Difficult one, Jacob because of his biotics, a biotic combatant has a huge edge over a non-biotic, but if it was just man vs. man, no biotics allowed, got to go with Garrus, he's bigger, has more reach, and is Turian (typically stronger than humans). Some Dude wrote...

Who would win in a toe-to-toe fight, Garrus or Jacob?

But Batman was beating the crap out off Huamns and Garrus is the Baturian, so I'm 100% he will kick Jacob's ass in a melee fight.CC-Tron wrote...

I've haven't seen Turians display any superior strength. Shephard pretty easily bounced 3 Turians in the After-life club. They are probably a little stronger on average which isn't saying much. Jacob is not average. I don't know who'd until I see it.

Its more like how Vulcans are supposed to be quite stronger than humans, but for a variety of reasons, its rarely showcased in the shows or literature.

The biggest example was Saren suspending Shepard by his collar on Virmire.
Shepard also easily kills a bunch of Krogan during the Patriach mission, but obviously, hes not stronger than them. just knows where to kick punch/kick them.
I don't think it's possible, I think that somone mentioned it in this thread before.CC-Tron wrote...
Is there any way to complete Jacob's loyalty mission and not get his loyalty?

Saren had extensive cybernetics added to his body so he may not be the best example. I've never seen a regular Turian display that power.

I wasnt doing versus discussion, I was just clarifying something I understand about Turians.
I honestly have no idea, but I haven't played alot with the classes except the Soldier and Soldier can take care of himself without real assist.Sand King wrote...

True. I have only really done Soldier and Vanguard myself.gashgfjaskgfkagh wrote...

That's true and that's why I love the Soldier so much, I've played GTA, Saints Row, Halo, Fallout 3 and Oblivion alot and in that games you are a one man army, especially in GTA and SR. If I can have guns, then I rather play as a one man army class.Pacifien wrote...
As a soldier, which is not my favorite class by any means, the concept of squadmate goes out the window. What squadmate? I'm a one-man killing machine.
Excellent assessment mosor. I have not played as sentinal or engineer yet but he is a great pairing for adept and infiltrator, okay with soldier, not needed as vanguard.mosor wrote...

Played all the classes on insanity and used Jacob a lot so I will rank them from my experience.
1. Sentinel-Absolute best pairing. You got warp, you need someone with pull. Jacob gives you that, plus squad incendiary which makes him a kick ass squadie for any mission dealing with organics.
2. Adept. Very good pairing. Gives you the pull to help set up your warp bombs. gives you the fire ammo
3. Infiltrator. Also a very good pairing. You're probably brining Miranda a lot, might as well bring Jacob too for his squad incindiary and his pull. Pull field,, and your own incineration blast are great for husk control. Arm yourself with a predator with cryo to take out the stragglers and you're kicking ass.
4. Engineer is a good pairing. Worked out well, mostly because of his fire ammo, and secondly I brought miranda a lot with me and he pairs well with her.
5. Soldier, so so pairing. Soldier has inferno ammo, and the choice of other squaddies who also have pull like Samara. Still doable. Pull field is still great crowd control.
6. Vanguard. Absolute worst pairing since they have the exact same skills. The only good thing about jacob here is that he provides squad incediary for the early missions, and even that isn't entirely necessary.
I do the same thing. I prefer a squad of people I like over the "useful" for the mission.gashgfjaskgfkagh wrote...
I'm not choosing my squadmates because of their usefullness, I choose the ones like and that ends up with Garrus, Jacob. Miranda, Grunt, Mordin and Legion when I get him beign the only squadmates I ever use, I don't care about the rest.
And of course some squadmates have special dialogue, like Legion on Tali's recruitmnt mission. I loved that part.Sand King wrote...
