I support Jacob however I would support him more if he was more open about his past in regards to his time with the Alliance and I would like him to be less hostile toward the crew in Mass Effect 3. Others may like him the way he is now but I would prefer a more approachable Jacob.
Okay, as much as I love Tali it totally was her who started it, and he had good reasons to be suspicious of Thane and Legion. As a Corsair his job was to deal with raiders, pirates, mercs, most of which were just guns for higher and an assassin is a precise gun for higher.

I agree with Jacob in regards to Thane. I have no idea why that was a dossier.

When you recruit Tali, Jacob welcomes her to the ship and the team and she bites his face off for being part of Cerberus.

He says something like welcome to Cerberus. Think of someone saying welcome to Al-Qaeda. Not something you'd like to agree with. Tali is joining because Shepard helped her and the mission is important. She did not join Cerberus. And I don't think you can say she started anything at all because Jacob was not even trying to insult her. He said "say hi to the AI" not to be an ass but because he wasn't using his brain.LuckyIronAxe wrote...

Imo: Jacob was a soldier, he killed for his government. Then he joined Cerberous... which kills all kinds of people and preforms experiments on aliens and humans.
Thane is trying to repent before he dies. Jacob joined Cerberous because he wanted to get things done. Thane is helping you for free because he is sincere about wanting to save the galaxy. Jacob wants to save the colonists and the galaxy. I can understand some initial suspicion but not outright protest. After all Shepard is (being forced to) give Cerberous a second chance... and of course the psychotic killer in the basement...

What, for a powerful biotic you have Jack and how can having a master thief help defeat the collectors.Collider wrote...
Thane had no role in the sucide mission, but Samara and Kasumi do.

He welcomes her to the ship, says that Cerberus saw footage of her in action, and says she'll be a valuable member of the team. Then she says that she doesn't know who Jacob is but he's with Cerberus, don't play nice. He doesn't tell her she joined Cerberus.

I agree, I find Samara quite useful, but I also agree that Thane is useless.

Again, Jacob is trying to make up for the fact that Cerberus is a terrible organization. I actually like Jacob, but really, no one was at fault here. Tali is justified in saying that she did not join Cerberus and she does not like Cerberus. If you remember Cerberus did something horrible to group of Quarians before, not to mention all of the horrible things they've done. She did not start anything because Jacob did not even attempt to bite back. He was trying to be polite. His AI remark was done without thinking. I'm not going to automatically trust anyone with Cerberus either. Shepard obviously had no choice, but Jacob joined out of his free will. Again, not bagging on Jacob, just think that no one's at fault here.LuckyIronAxe wrote...
