I still want there to be a Jacob thread though. Jacob doesn't get enough credit. You guys could rename this thread and then LuckyIronAxe could start a new Jacob thread.

I still don't understand why the Jacob hate thread isn't locked yet, the mods lock other hate threads, but they won't lock the Jacob one, why, I ask WHY?!<_<

I understand that, but they always lock character hate threads, except Jacob's, I guess we just have to live with that thread and wait until it dies....<_<

But let's get back to Jacob,
Why do you think Bioware had changed Jacob's powers in ME2?
I can't think of any reason accept "we did it for the lulz" or "we thought he will be better that way".

I wouldn't mind the ability to give Jacob a heavy weapon, except the Cain, that will cause alot of deaths.
Jacob with the Arc Projector and Shepard with the Cain and because the Shepard is the only person who plays by the gameplay rules Jacob will have infinte ammo on the Arc Projector.
Shepard will nuke the bosses, Jacob will take care of the groups.
I'm sure if Bioware gave Jacob heavy weapons with infinite ammo he will be more popular as a squadmate.

If you ahve the Pc you can do that with the Gibbed save editor anyway..

Jacob feels like the close combat kind of guy (no Jacob do NOT use that as a pickup line!) so I would give him the flamethrower (No Jacob I don't wan't to see your other hot heavy weapon...).

In Mass Effect Galaxy Jacob could use AR's, heavy weapons and he had stasis and overload, I think you know his ME2 skillset.

well then...i really have no idea..i liked his ME2 skillset...but i guess overload would have been good to have and heavy weapons...maybe a mix for ME3 ?

ad Overload too...can be useful if u have no one else with it..though in ME2 i usually had Jacob paired with Miranda
