Again, Jacob is trying to make up for the fact that Cerberus is a terrible organization. I actually like Jacob, but really, no one was at fault here. Tali is justified in saying that she did not join Cerberus and she does not like Cerberus. If you remember Cerberus did something horrible to group of Quarians before, not to mention all of the horrible things they've done. She did not start anything because Jacob did not even attempt to bite back. He was trying to be polite. His AI remark was done without thinking. I'm not going to automatically trust anyone with Cerberus either. Shepard obviously had no choice, but Jacob joined out of his free will. Again, not bagging on Jacob, just think that no one's at fault here.


It's my belief that the AI remark was intentional, you know payback for frankly the rude welcoming Tali gave Jacob. I don't mean to sound like I'm biting your head off either Collider, we're having a discussion, and I'm having fun with it!

Yeah, "welcoming" was the wrong word, I meant something more like meeting, my bad. But you have a good point, Jacob doesn't seem the sort for petty squabbles, I honestly don't know. Did he really have that bad of timing or was he doing it intentionally, thoughts everybody?

Well like I said, Jacob is trying to be polite. Part of that is giving new recruits the heads up that the weird disembodied voice is the AI. The problem was that he is not linking the whole Quarian and Haestrom thing together with the AI. It's not him being malicious, it's him not choosing his words carefully enough.
