Not sure, but it looks like it could be from one of the romance scenes. Most likely from the wink scene right after you enter the Omega-4 relay. Right after the wink and before she turns away.

You can put me in the camp that thinks Miranda's face is mapped a little strangely, often taking a slide into Uncanny Valley (which I had to look up just now).  The features are just a little too big and amorphous at times.  I think it's hyperbole to name her a Top Ten Ugly or anything, but they didn't come close to capturing Yvonne Strahovsky on the screen.  They did, however, come just close enough to make me go, "Eh?"

When my first Shepard first regained semi-consciousness in Mass Effect 2, my first thought was, "Her face...bigger...than her head..."

Francis is ugly? Yeah he isnt the best thing to look at but come on it isnt ugly and neither is Miranda's.

And off topic I know but seriously Francis outfit is awesome!

I do not agree with Miranda or Francis at all. There are defiantly uglier characters than them (where the hell was Tingle when this list was created?!).

Every character can fall prey to bad lighting and a lack of anti-aliasing, but I think for the most part Miranda is a beautiful digital character. They were wise to base her face off Yvonne Strahovski, and they obviously spent a lot of time getting her just right. I think that article is off base including her.



I think the ugliest character in the ME lineup is probably Zaeed. I mean, ick.

She does have an over bite and a jaw line only David Coulthard could compete with. The over bit is bad and on PC its worse, I think it's because I'm closer to the screen. You'd think with all the genetic perfection they'd have gotten her braces. However there are far more ugly game characters out there than her....That ugly old man who you are in NIER. Ewwwie.

I personally find most characters attractive in the MAss Effect games, given they don't have the ridiculous cheek bone/ concave cheek problem. And are of a decent-looking age, of course.

I've never found Miranda's face attractive, but it was pretty surprising to see her on there. I certainly wouldn't call her face ugly.
