  It's okay to be harsh on Miranda's looks, and normally I'm pretty forgiving and even open-minded to what could be considered as attractive.
  Miranda has a lumpy face that is unfortunately paired with a petite frame. This is a bad combo that only accentuates her large head. I don't think this makes her ugly; in fact, I really like her design (if it could be called that given its origins) because I find her look unusual and very much a hit or miss depending on the lighting/angles.
However, given that Miranda is supposed to be "perfect" I would expect her face to have a more streamlined, Barbie-look to it.

 Attractive? Yes.
 Stunning in its perfection? No.

Miranda isn't ugly. Don't know where people are getting that from...she may not be perfect, but she's not ugly. Garrus is the least human looking squad mate, but he's also badass.

Insofar as Miranda is concerned, I get the impression that it may be a generational gap. That's just entirely guesswork by me, but I've noticed that the uncanny valley hits people harder than me a lot harder - possibly because I've grown up with CGI and am acclimatized to it. I've never seen Miranda once as looking like MJ and I think she looks almost exactly like Yvonne Strahovski - as she should.



I know others feel differently, but I'm really not bothered by her in-game render at all.

BTW, what part of the game is this shot from?  I never seen an expression of hers like that.  She looks adorable.


Agreed, that is a cute shot. I want to know what part it's from too.

My Shepard looks damn good in certain angles and lighting, and in others it looks like he's about 40ish, and not a good looking 40ish. Same goes for most characters in both games, which is one of the few things I don't really like about them.

About Miranda, Bioware botched up a bit and made her face wider than the persons she is based on (who is very beautifull BTW). On some angles she looks perrrrfect, but others are completely off. (and in few cases very Michael Jackson-esque :) )
